Stats: Strength, IQ (intelligence), Dexterity, Health; Roll 3d6 4 times, those are your 4 values, assign them however you wish.
Profession: Basically a class, it will determine your pool of skills. In this game we will simply use narration to determine if you can do something and profession is a big part of that
Skills: Create a list of 7 skills that define your character's profession. There are four levels of a skill: untrained (+0), trained(+1), professional(+2), master(+3). Choose 1 to be a master in and 2 to be a professional in. The rest are trained. Any skill not mentioned is untrained. Here is a
list of skills. Use it as a guide if you are lost, but you should make your own (make sure they fit the setting and the profession)
Background/History: This is arguably the most important part. Please take a look at the world building thread for some ideas. Choose your history carefully as it will have a great influence on what you can and cannot do (as well as determine the starting point for the adventure). Figure out some motive that drives your character (revenge, gold, religion etc.). The more detail you put in, the more you will get out of the game.
