Sir Notspyxeno reads the book. (2) It is a science fiction book. "Ender's Game"? Wait, this can't possibly one of this world's books...

(5-2=3) Agh, headache. Blitz chugs more of the wine. "Would charging for the beverages make you stop drinking?"

Johnny Nahmates heads outside and looks for anything interesting. In an attractive manner. (2) He gets an odd sense of being despised by hundreds of female deer. (interesting: 6) Oh! Adventurers! Johnny beholds a dwarf wizard, a gnome warrior, a goblin rogue, and a locust. A man sized locust, being ridden by a female paladin. Wait, do paladins normally have black armor? Blackguard, then. Cripes. ((Plot hook fired.))
The adventurers push Johnny aside, then enter the tavern. Jase realizes that this may be his hook to adventure.

The black armored paladin speaks. "Greetings. Might you direct us to the legendary level 14 Frost Lich, Null?"
