Easter tries to use it's clawys to tear into Halloween's flesh, but Halloween glides out of the way.

Halloween rends Easter's wings from it's back! the Easter dragon starts bleeding chocolate.

Vearan starts to head towards the site of Roary's death to loot his page, but notices Beirus heading his way. He still has one foot on his casting circle and casts his words.
[Vearan Power: 2+2+(0+0)][Beirus Dexterity: 2+6]
Another airborn wave of steel is launched in Beirus's direction, but he flies over it.
[Vearan Power: 4+2+(-2+0)][Beirus Dexterity: 2+6]
A heavy ingot of steel follows, but Beirus dives under it.

Beirus fails to grab Vearan's face landing on the casting circle just past Vearan, but he succesfully wraps his tail around him.

The spell succesfully crushes Vearan's body into a pulp. He gasps, coughs up some blood, and his head and limbs fall into a pile. Some ink passes to Beirus's page.
Vearan is Dead! Beirus gains some new words!Ah. Hum.

A large wheel of mozza cheese appears.

At first nothing happens. You call down to Flimsy to let him know, but the words coming out of your mouth have a melodious rythm to them, as if you were singing.
To be clear, you each cast the word once more.
[Derm Wisdom: 6][Flimsy Wisdom: 3+6]
Again, nothing happens until you start talking. You both sing a wonderous duet, discussing strategy and dances. Flimsy breaks out in a jig to celebrate.
This seems pretty clear, so Derm moves on to the next test.

You feel connected to the stairs. That's unclear, so you climb over the obsidian barrier onto the floor proper, grab a nearby easter-vine-covered-statue for target testing purposes and cast it again.

You feel connected to the floor around you in a smaller radius than the connection to the stairs. You don't feel connected to the statue or vines at all. You shout down to Flimsy, who's still dancing, to try it as well.
[Flimsy Power: 3+6]
Flimsy feels the floor under his feet quite clearly. It's distinctly a larger area than Derm felt either time.
Satisfied, you cast your last word.

A swirl of dark clouds appears above you, and a split second later lightning jumps between the clouds and gets you wet. After a moment, the clouds leak through the crack that Wycarth put in the ceiling.

An image of an eyball appears, then vanishes.

Your right foot tingles.

Your left hand tingles slightly more intensely.

Some sparks spit out of your mouth and swirl about in very fancy patterns. They fail to do much of anything but look fancy, then vanish.
