A pile of dark scraps of a pulsating metal forms in the center of the arena, long thin strips of it. It's almost alive, but there's not much of it.
Delekates of the Sweets moves down the stairs.
Oi, you misspelled my name! I cannot forgive such a transgression. Get science'd upon.
EDIT: Slardar eventually comes to his senses and realizes where he is, He partially climbs down the stairs (not enough to reach the ground floor) and points at vaeron saying "RENOG!!"

[Slardar Dexterity:5+2]
A good sized amount of fluids erupt from Vearan's mouth, and arc in the direction of Slardar. However, the strong man dodges quite easily. The resultant puddle on the stairs smells of digestive fluids and old carrots.

A roughly shoe-shaped object appears in Vearan's hand, made of a green metal. The surface of the shoe sort of shimmers, and it feels soft like flesh.
[Slardar Power: 5-2]
In front of Slardar a boulder of pitch black rock apears, pure obsidian. Perched on the stairs as it is, it rolls down and crashes into the wall beneath.
[Vearan Power: 6+2]
The shoe in Vearan's hand is then launched straight up and embeds itself into the roof of the arena.
Scientificize.

Science's left hand tingles briefly.
[Science Power: 2+3]
A single disembodied tongue appears in front of him.
[Science Power: 5+3]
He feels a whole body tingling.
[Science Wisdom (cast): 2]
Nothing happens when he says his fourth word.
[Science Power: 6+3]
His fifth word creates a pair of 3 foot long spruce 2x4s in front of him.
[Science Power: 2+3]
[Science Wisdom (cast): 2]
Then his mind is filled with thoughts of yellow, and then a strange thought of branching paths.
[Science power: 6+3]
[Science Power: 3+3]
His last two words cause everyone to briefly think thoughts of anger and furs, followed by creating a small cheese platter, minus the platter; small wedges of cheese scatter on the ground in front of him.
And so it begins.

Beirius's right hand feels slightly warm, and he thinks of eggs and candy.

He thinks of anger and furs again, but nobody else does.

He briefly feels connected to the wall he's pointing at, and a faint ghostly image of a desk briefly appears in front of him.

In front of derm an image of a forked stick with something between the two branches flashes, almost too quickly for him to catch, but it sticks around long enough for him to get the idea.

A puddle of bile appears on the ground in front of him.

Thoughts of pumpkins and monsters entertain derm a bit.

Then his right index finger feels a massive amount of pressure, then is crushed into gore. Yuck! Ow!
[Derm Wisdom (cast): 6]
But he manage to think calm thoughts, dispelling any thoughts of barbarians or halloween and keeping himself from panicing over his finger.

His last word has no noticiable effect.
