Quick thought on this though...

What about the upcoming update? This looks like It's going to extend well into July and I'm pretty sure the Update's going to come out mid June.

Will we stay in 40.24 or port our mods to foofoo.foofoo?

Because everyone's going to want to play around with books, festivals, and such.

It's not really going to be a raw-breaking update. I wouldn't worry.

It's not really going to be a raw-breaking update. I wouldn't worry.

Yeah, there will probably be some new raws, but most of it will likely be hardcoded. (There might be object raws for Codices, Scrolls, rollers, bindings, parchment, paper, etc.)

The only difference will be that some Vanilla files will be modified. Meaning people who changed those may have to have their mods redone in those files. But that shouldn't be more than a copy-paste job.

In what I plan to do, all I'd have to do to update would be to paste in my old chitin, scale and scale leather materials back into their raw spots. (I'm going to mod in my Chitin mod from my Chitin thread.) and since we're mostly going to be working with our own text files, very little will be affected at all.

We might just quit.

That's not the attitude to have.

Can I join? I'd love to plop in my creatures and inorganics. Are civs allowed to be added?

Nah, people probably just don't get back to it within the 2 days. Need urist to keep up with it, too.

Oops >_<

You can just move on if there's no response. You can't force their hand, but you can always play yours.

How about.. They don't respond in 24 hours, go onto the next lad?

This way, no stalling.  Just a steady stream of lads mashing their faces into the keyboard, creating forth a beautiful stream of crap content.

If that's the case, I guess Ruludos is next.
