Then, look at the little sharp edged white spot in the upper left:
Update on a fun part of those parameters to check out, the sharp edged white spot was a freaky little square based 134 mountain packed with gold veins, but the lower left one?

Good lord.

I'm not sure I would attempt surmounting that even with legendary climbing.

The climbing it isn't the hard part, climbing skill comes into play when you grab a wall while falling, and I didn't climb it... I launched myself over it with a script and grabbed on to the next mountain over on the way back down to stop myself.

I once realized I had taken a new character and shimmied almost 20 z up a sheer cliff before I thought to see if I had given myself climbing skill. A point of swimming is mandatory though.

I was thinking on making the adventurer a peasant (for more "fun"), but what do you guys think?

Whatever makes it more fun, do eet. I swing back and forth from stuff like trying to avoid starving with a kobold peasant to jumping around kicking the game physics square in the teeth with godsmashers.

I'd say do what suits you, but I think going with a higher skill level would be better, so you don't die and have to take more time to get somewhere all over again, or miss out on some fun situation.
I mean, I know from experience even demigod doesn't help much incase someone explodes your finger or you get a pike stuck in your head but better safe than sorry.

True. Demigods are just as mortal as everyone else in this game.

It looks like the general consensus is to generate a world based on Max's parameters, so later today I will post a list of the sites in that world which I can study.

They are fun, but man, I was looking at the history in one I did to test the mod I'm doing and noticed the rather odd looking "second abduction of dishmab silverclaw at seducedcoal" line.

What is with this kid that they keep snatching him from each other?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
How does that happen?

Gonna have to go find and ask him.

I've seen as many as five abductions of the same person. I've also seen goblins abducting goblin-born humans from each other, with the parents abducting back their own children.

Nice, haven't focused as much on exactly who was abducting who in the past.

Anenu Quico
The Planet of Cyclones
Here are a few world maps, a list of regions, a list of sites, the history of the world (Part I), and other goodies.
If you want me to post anything else, just say the word.

Wow, it's weird seeing a world without the goblin pop controls, used to 1/10 that population, and what happened to Notchsacks, was it in any way related to Cudgelgilt, and how did Naturearrow end up as it did?

If you decide to brave the goblin pits but the lag is getting to you it is possible to find the site in the world sites and pops and use gui/gm-editor df.global.world.world_data.sites.all[the number from the world sites and pops -1], so 5: seducedpoisons would be [4], etc. Then go down to animals and set the min/max pops to like 1 and 100 for trolls, then down to inhabitants and set the total for all the gobs to something like 100~500 instead of 8000 or whatever.

Lag shouldn't be a problem. I have a beast of a computer and I used the 4gb memory patch.
