Backup your saves before you play new versions.  Anybody else having save trouble?  Inflate error saves aren't recoverable, because it means the save process died halfway through.

Good thing I backed up, I just always COPY the save folder, that's the easy way to do it.  I'll tell you if it happens again, didn't lose much.

If you can read the list of changes in this build and honestly not recognize any of it you really must not have been playing much, if at all. This build KICKS ASS. Seriously, this is really good stuff for any skilled DF player. It is especially impressive considering it was done purely during the evenings of a work week for Toady. I was expecting to have to wait at least through the weekend for this.

PS: pleeeeeaase include Rewalling in the next Future of the Fortress!

speaking of other games.. what is the point of adventure mode? i mean.. can you wander around to do what you want with no time frame limit? do you beat it after beating certain boss?

can you get married, raise family.. play as the kid, have properties, etc (in the future at least)

.... asking.. because there was this old japanese rpg/roguelike type game... overland map grid linking towns (well you can't walk off the grid... random encounters when you travel from town to town... etc) dungeons at/near each town... mundane quests (fetching, escorting object/people, etc).. marry, have kids, etc... can't remember the title though.

Nice update - apart from the fact that CPU useage goes up to 100% and makes the game pretty much unplayable...

Skyrage: Check  your video-driver settings. That's usually the problem when those kind of things occur.

Awesome but I'll wait until my current fortress bites the dust.

Meh - well that sucks since I don't have the option to alter much from where I play - and that includes updating drivers etc.
