The trial goes on for hours, every piece of evidence gone over in extensive detail, and every testimony repeated thrice. This is serious, after all.

Finally, the judge calls for order. "I have come to a decision," he says, "The testimony and evidence lends support to the belief that the recruit is on the side of humanity. However, it is a justifiable and very real concern that they are simply a cunning Titan, waiting for us to drop our guard. Therefore, a test, as earlier recommended."
