Dwarf Therapist Spacers changing colour

I made a custom grid view in dwarf Therapist, I have black spacers separating different things.  Every time I quit and restart Dwarf Fortress, thus reloading Dwarf Therapist all the black spacers have lost their default colour and reverted back to their sets' colour.  I tried instead making new sets for each spacer, but that broke DT even worse.  Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
