I must admit I'm quite excited for things like arena battles (when society and cities are at such a level).

Fantastic! I think Threetoe's stories have improved a lot since the first ones. Having a romantic adventurer could obviously pose some interesting gameplay elements. And fighting in arenas? I'm giddy with the thought!
