X-C-O-M Enforcer was my favorite
It's sequel, XKOM Enforceptor was the best.
I liked the Mortal XKombat spinoff.
XKOM: Fatality Unknown
X-Kom: Shirai Riu From the Deep

I'm not a fan of XCOM: Rebirth, even after all the patches.

It's a hype thread. After the one or two posts worth of actual content are exhausted, people just shitpost to have their hand in it. Welcome to the internet.

I was hoping for in depth analysis of every single possible detail so far, with huge amounts of unsupported guesswork and theories.

Well, there has been some of that.

Is that the one where they modeled the main male character after Vin Diesel?

Haven't ever actually finished X-COM. I get a little bored about 3/4 of the way through once it's Cyberdisks and Mutons all day. So I'm probably going to hold off on this. I'll be interested to see if they move the design forward at all, or if this is one of those "simplify/streamline" sequels.

PPersonally the base game on normal was a breeze. I smashed through the campaign in 2-3 days.
Longwar is exhausting however.

Should probably save the EW/EU discussion for the EW/EU thread.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!
