19900525 turned out looking pretty nicely, and with an awesome name.  Anursil, the Wondrous Plane.  Also, the main landmass is called 'The Mythical Autumnal Continents of Indignation.  I'm considering giving up my other world and fortress to play on this one.

19912709 never went too well for me, the first spot that i chose had magma, good wood a chasm, but, it came with a horde of nasties, including a cyclops and several Giant Cave Spiders

19810905, "The Ageless Realm of Winds," 109 rejects!  I love the birthday seed idea though, scanning mine now for good sites.  Thanks for the good idea, I needed a new map to get focused on.

Are you running linux?

I'm going to try 19850620 now, and see what kind of weirdness I get. If it doesn't work right, my avatar's special date 20150825 could do better maybe...   :)

The first seed's world is called The Eternal Planet of Forever. I like it very much.  :)So far the most interesting name I saw was Usmokener (untranslated), a town located right next to a volcano.  :)

That's why I posted that.

Hell, I still feel/act like I am 17. HA! 16 years of stagnation! And loving every minute of it! *rolls another one*

If anybody wants a challenging spot, I can upload my save...  That would mean having to use my mod, too, but it ain't altogether much.

It's basically a named spire in the middle of a treeless desert.
With a goblin cave, two chasms, and salt water (!).
The spire itself isn't all that high though, but the situation is rather challenging. The cave is also a very nice one to explore in adventure mode, because it's like 10 levels deep...

Wow, I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier.  When I get bored of Venice, I'll check out 19860603.   :)
