Hey, guys. Unfortunately this is game is going to go on hiatus, which probably means death. I may continue it sometime in the future though. If anyone wants to take over as GM they are more than welcome (you can use this thread or make your own). I don't have materials to transfer as pretty much everything (puzzles included) were improvised.
To tie up some loose ends:
-The painting puzzle requires you to scratch out the purple lines in the painting, destroying the correspond wall of the glass pillar
-The rotating room puzzle required you solve the cipher on the wall which read:
Pour me that
Which kills when spilled
And taken saves
Or kills if mistaken
Which is hot in lovers
Cold in killers
River of love and life
Pour me that
To solve the cipher you have use the scytale with vertical length of 3 characters and horizontal length of 70 characters, you basically write the cipher (which repeats over and over, necessitating taking only part of the cipher) on the leather strips then just wrap it around the scytale 70 times (its already the right size to allow a vertical length of 3 characters) revealing the above riddle.
The answer to this riddle is "blood", but you have realize what the riddle is actually referring to, which is the fountain ("pour me that"). So you must pour a few drops of blood into the fountain, at which point the gravity of the room shifts, so that the facing wall becomes the "floor" (the ceiling was open, thus you can now walk through the ceiling into the hidden passage) and the seemingly oddly placed fountain suddenly becomes right-side up.
- I don't really know where I was going with Zdeska, but the riddle in the book lies in how the last part is read:
Wait and sit -----)
Drip by drip ------- These three lines must be read as one line
Drink the chalice )
And you die ---)
If they drink,---) And these two must be read as one line
Four and four
On sixteen lips,
Then you fly --- Refers to the party, not Zdeska
Or is it----|
All a lie?--| It is (depending on how you read it).
So she just had to drink this whole time, while, if you drink, she dies and you gain the ability to fly for a short while.
-There was a much more complex puzzle in the maze, but I'll save that for another time
-The "Pet" is actually an old tomb raider that has been brainwashed (remember the straitjacket), who killed the previous pet (Summoned demon)
I think that's about all of them. If there is anything else, remind me and I'll post what I had. Nothing was ever written down, so somethings might just be left unknown.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed it while it lasted and I'm sorry for ending it here.
