Spoiler: Rules (click to show/hide)

Welcome, precious players! Your very presence honors me. And won't you look at this: "Roll on Table" is a game of... why, it is a story of... hm. Hmm.
Roll 1d6 and consult Table 0 to determine the general nature of this game!

TABLE 0
(1d6)Style
1-2
A purely text-based suggestion game!
3
A badly illustrated suggestion game!
4-5
A play-by-post RPG, free for all, probably pretty quick and unfair!
6
Consult APPENDIX MAGENTA.

Alright, that refers us to Table 0.B. Obviously!

What kind of illustrations? Roll 2d4 on the table below!
TABLE 0.B
2-3Photographs!
4Oldschool RPG mockup using free assets!
   5Roguelike-style ASCII Graphics!
6100% dated image macros and related memes
7-8Mouse drawings on MSPaint-level!

My dice revealed a 4, and a 2.

No idea what exactly this option entails. Just letting you know is all.

I'm not sure what this option entails either! But we shall find out, together, pretty soon.

Let's skip ahead a bit, to Table 1.0.0.0 : Seeding the Setting

Roll 3d20. Note down the three indicated keywords. Roll 3d6 and assign each of the rolled numbers to one of the keywords, at your own discretion!
(And then don't forget to post that little list. It should look something like this:
Double-Decadent Empires: 4
Competent Robots: 1
Altitude is of grave importance: 6)

1The Dung Ages
2Ancient Death-Lasers
3Multi-headed Angels
4Low Ribald Magic
5Double-Decadent Empires
6World under Siege
7Competent Robots
8The street outside your apartment. Or is it?
9Something unlike Spaceships
10Dwarves in Chainmail
11There is a blind eye looking at you from beyond the stars. Its size is incomprehensible.
12Modern Day Appliances
13Romantic (Reality-Soap) Dramedy
14The police state is benevolent. Also, there is no police state.
15Abstract Gamey Magics
16Altitude is of grave importance
17Weapon-kinship
18And before there was nothing, there were monsters.
19Dream Partisans
20Wild Boars

Multiple people can roll, as always. Here it might be especially important, to get a functioning but bizarre setting.

And thus the dice speak;

9 - 6 - 11
6 - 2 - 2

Which turns into this... plot?

Something unlike Spaceships - 6
World under Siege - 2
Something something Cthulu Myth -2

RNG granted me this prophecy:

2, 16, 5
3, 6, 3

So this gets us:

Ancient Death-Lasers: 6
Altitude is of grave importance: 3
Double-Decadent Empires: 3

3 2 1

Ancient Death lasers 3
Double decadent empires 2
Romantic Dramedy 1

What do the second numbers mean?

Emphasis, I guess. Btw, number 6 is "World under Siege", not "Double decadent empires".

Those Double-Decadent Empires sure love their death lasers

What do the second numbers mean?
The bigger the number, the more.
Alright, let's construct those settings. All three of them, and then take our pick.

Ignore the Twist Points for the moment.
Note that I filled in the first Creation Snippet already. You can contiue this now: quote one, two or all three of those lists and fill in the next one Snippet. It has to have to do with the concept abbreviated at the start of that line, of course. No double posts please, but you can contribute several times.
If this takes too long (likely) I will just finish them myself. Choo choo!
