I think I possibly have the the "Long Name Land" for my current DF world.

The world name is 'Bagsnubusnuspsmaksmo' and my Captial's name is 'Imkethanzishzedotaban Anil'. Now I can not even prononce those two names! Why such the long name?

Does anyone have a longer name? (If possible)

To generate names, the game just sticks a bunch of words together from the appropriate language.  You can generally see a translation of the name next to it in quotes.  Same thing for character names.  You just happen to have gotten several long words to make your composite ones - it happens now and then.  I'd be interested in what the translation is though.

Imkethanzishzedotaban Anil apaerently means 'The Just Alchemical Lobster-Construct of Glory'.

I guess it was a fishing town once.

I just noticed that your world's name is in Goblin, like my first and still only one.  The proper Dwarven name would be Anurgatalnīr.

bagsnub = wonder(noun), usnusp = ageless, smaksmo = land.

Anurgatalnīr
Anur = wonder(noun), gatal = ageless, nīr = land.

It's always interesting for me to translate one name into others.  Kudos to Toady for making the DF world just that more real.
