GRACKLE O.G. YO

Oh snap, I just noticed the creature files have grackles in them! These birds are all over cities in the Southwestern United States. The males are black and the females are brown. The files have no male and female caste, so could someone write me a quick fix to put a male with black feathers caste and female with brown feathers caste?

These are largely city dwellers along with the boat-tailed variety. Is it possible to make these only spawn in hamlets? I would add house sparrows too. http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/House_Sparrow/id

The first is something you can learn how to do yourself (look at any creature that does have gender body differences to get the idea how it works, refer to dfwiki "creature tokens" to learn more, come back with questions).  I don't think the idea about hamlets is possible.

Well, we know Hamlets and cities only spawn in plains and rivers, right? So would changing them to appear only in the same biomes where villages and Hamlets are allowed do the trick? Would concentrating their populations to only rivers and plains even be enough to  see the desired effect in game at all anyway? I barely see any wildlife unless it decides to ambush me at night as-is.

we definitely need a new 'urban sprawl' biome token for rats and the like

In the midwest both males and females are dark brown with iridescent blue-black heads. :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_grackle
