Ah yes, it will be quite fitting for someone of my rank to hover over the battlefield and to bring to justice the rabble. One bullet at a time.

Edit: pretty sure you need to have voodoo researched to be able to interrogate star gods.

I figured so, but I still did not figure where to start. Capturing more reverends maybe?

I plan to use miniguns with antigrav units too, the best way to strip cover.

Have you closely inspected, er I mean interrogated, an Academy Esper?

I believe I have not met any. The academy is not flying a lot around the bases.

Given that the Academy are the main tech-heads in this setting, it seems that not having their specialists available for interrogation is our main stumbling block tech-wise right now.

I suppose it's time for Axespendable's cousin, Princess Bladerunner to join the crew.  (Another meleegal, please!)

Star Gods are scary, but they stick with the "live and let live" philosophy. Don't shoot down their ships, and they will leave you alone.

Of course, at some point you'll have to tackle them... :)

Hello people, guess what: I started a Piratez wiki.

Of course this game is ridiculously detailed, and there's no way I'd doing it alone. So I'd like to ask for some help.

For now, I'd like to ask you people to help with adding units, because it's just so many of them. It's easy, since I prepared the template and everything. And here's the instructions:
1) Create the page, for example "Trader Security", and start editing it.
2) Go to the source editor mode.
3) At the very top, type
Code: [Select]
{{Infobox_unit}}4) If the unit has a Ufopaedia description (almost all do), type:
Code: [Select]
== Bootypedia description ==
(Ufopaedia text here)
[[Category:Units]]
5) Go back to the Visual Editor (normal editor mode, with formatting)
6) Click on the grey-highlighted name of the unit on the right. This opens the template. (Note: if it blabbers something about no specified parameters instead, just close the message and try again.)
7) Fill in the forms on the template (unit stats and such).
8) Save.

See here how it's supposed to look like.

Note that there's an option for adding a picture, but there are no unit pictures yet, since I need to set some standard for these. For now, just omit it.

Don't forget a NSFW warning, if you add certain pictures.

What, are you reading this kind of stuff at work? :) Honestly, if someone does, some pixellated cartoonish tits are unlikely to cause any bigger problems.

EDIT: I've started adding unit pictures. Since I have the template, you can leave it to me - I'll add the pics when articles show up.

Good job on the wiki, I'll add weapons from time to time.

----

Finding the recipe for electro pulse ammunition was a breakthrough in killing technology for the pirates but that did not contribute towards piercing the secret of laser ammunition. Because of this, the brainers decided to go back to the basics and figure out what they missed.

10 Jan 2602

The brainers were split into two groups. One was trying to improve the quality of life around the hideouts, while the other delved into ancient history. The runts were digging more laboratory space with their simple pickaxes and besides that, they still used the same rusty tools that they started with.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

According to an extensive study of mutant porn, they discovered that the magical power of a female was linked to the amount of fat located in her chest. As strange as it looked, such discovery seemed possible from report of what was called 'the power of attraction'. More research has to be conducted for sure.

11 Jan 2602

Rifles were okaish weapons for the inexperienced to use. Those were simple enough plasteel ammo provided the swabbies with the hope of piercing basic armors. It only lacked a je ne sais quoi that a runt brought back by splitting a binocular and taping the result. It was not proved that looking in the scope made the pirates better marksgals but at least when they felt focused when they do.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

At the same time, it seemed that mercenary gear could be made fit a gal’s body. Not only the resulting look pleased Eve Jobs-sama, but it kept its anti ballistic qualities. That was a good timing because the runts finished building a surgery lab and started to recombine these suits.

13 Jan 2602

After many boardings, gauss weapons started to stockpile in all the hideouts. There were so many that the runts piled crates upon crates of these magnetic guns, yet the pirates knew nothing of those. The brainers decided to explore this line of weaponry, starting with a pistol. After piercing several solid steels walls they classified the weapon as ‘badass’.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Mutants planned a development route taking the example from laser weapons. They may disassemble guns and maybe, one day, reassemble them before struggling for months figuring how to make ammo and get frustrated. That was a great plan.

15 Jan 2602

The Kraken was moved at Troy and was galed as intented. The base still need a leader, a figure that will rise above the others. Helen and Hecuba were the best candidates, eager to prove superiority to each other. Such attitude was approved by the Big Boss.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Meanwhile, the brainers keep writing about ‘the basics” and rumors told of a ‘big’ solution to the pirates ammunition problem.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The runts on the other hand were on more practical problems and repaired a grav unit. It was tested by strapping on a swabbie. Success was declared when the young hand knocked herself on the roof. It was not good enough however in the eye of Eve Jobs-sama. She would not trust Rince Wind to fly in her undies and get a plasma ball on her butt, training snipers took way too long to risk their lives. So order was issued to make further attempts on fully armored subjects.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

This busy day ended with an evening of lecture about the fall of mankind.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

As the brainer concluded her story to her captive audience alarms triggered in the intercom. Wako Base was under attack.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Base defense

Tired of seeing their brightest researcher disappear, the academy decided to silence the gals. The situation was dire because all the veteran gals were in the sick bay so either they fought crutches in hands or they let the swabbies handle this.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

So the swabbies zipped their smokey suit and grabbed lasguns, the situation was indeed very dire.

Following the example of previous attacks on the base, they ran off their quarters and took position in the best defensive place of the base: the toilets. Then they torched the only way in, blocking the academicians.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Further south, rifle gals took position behind corners where they could have a long and straight line of sight towards the bottleneck. They exposed themselves as little as possible, taking a step to let out a few snap shots before going back into cover.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

This tactic proved to be very effective despite a few swabbies panicking from some unknown magic. The academy personnel had to walk through fire, avoid ambushes from the nearby melee gals, get mauled by dogs and shot by snipers. None of them could move through such hazardous places.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The gals lost a few swabbies who could not keep their hand down and sadly they could not capture the magic dude alive. But still this was beyond anything that was expected from them. That defeat was humiliating for the academy. Praise the rookies!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

16 Jan 2602

Once wako base was safe, Eve Jobs-sama decided to start interrogating her guests again, starting with the gals who serve the guild. The hostess told her of her wonderful country of freedom and guns, how boring.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

18 Jan 2602

The Church of Sirius launched a new campaign of propaganda and decided to show off by flying a large golden ship. So much gold in the air was too much for the gals to resist and soon enough it was under the fire of the greedy pirates.

Crash site

The predator pushed the ship into crash landing near ancient temple whose meaning was completely lost on the gals.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The zealots were quickly given a taste of the fire they love so much. At the same time two bikini clad beastmasters tried to escape. A few tranquilizer shots put them to sleep. These gals made valuable slave once they got rid of superfluous, so the Big Boss wanted them alive.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Inside the ship, the pirates discovered why the beastmasters were not wearing their armors, pieces of their suits could be found around the craters left by the ship’s engines.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And outside, the cooking continues.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

On the second floor, the pirates met the leaders and tried to knock them out. Unfortunately one had too much of a glass jaw and died on the spot, as if the fisticuffs were suddenly more dangerous.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And that was the end of the flying golden saucer.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Inside the ship the pirates found a crate of strange clothing, similar to what the gals wear in their everyday life but more expensive looking. The surviving church members told them that they confiscated this 'lingerie' and planned it to burn it in front of the public eye. This was discarded as nonsense and given to the Big Boss as a gift.

19 Jan 2602

A new swabbie knocked at the cave of booty’s massive blast door.

Spoiler: Roadkill (click to show/hide)

20 Jan 2602

The brainers kept reading about history, and discovered report about the early contacts between humans and star god in the skies. The humans did not fare well, it was a dark time before nuclear fuel and cloaking devices.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Weapon testing continued and quite a discovery was made; Magnums are more than impressive six shots, their brass could be filled with acid!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Eve Jobs-sama on her side, secretly invited the captive church reverend in her chambers. She had plans for him.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

----

And I the poll's back at 0 so you can vote. I got great weapon research available as well as all kind of tech we did not try yet.

I recently changed computer and I think I am producing screenshot that are way too big, I'll reduce that.

Otherwise, that went well.
