I don't think we need much payment. Maybe just enough to pay back for our new guys' losses and let them buy some extra equipment.
That's cause you're already a giant robot overlord. I think we should get lots of payment. Even though it was short, that was a very risky and difficult mission and we did well.

I don't think we deserve any bonus pay. We didn't recover any practical information about the face-melter tech (which was very likely engineered by the UWM), and which they valued so highly that they sent along an AoP to safeguard it.

Yes we did:

Did we get a good look at that automanip that was responsible for the melting effect? Did we get a look at its inside while he was hacking away? Could we try and reproduce it based on that?

We did, but that won't matter much. I mean, think about it: The actual interesting part is gonna be the configuration of the {REDACTED} in the black box. We'll probably be able to figure it out from a corpse and the injuries though; assuming anyone makes it back.

"This protocol, to keep it short, pushes a person to the edges of his or her abilities, but might cause some damage in return. It is very much a last-ditch measure."
"Longer version? When was that modification done? Why weren't we told about it?"

"A while ago. Exact details are classified until further notice. It was kept under cahoots to prevent people trying to prevent or hamper its activation, such as has happened with the spine shock implants before. It's a last-ditch emergency measure, one that is too valuable to risk having a public protest over or people trying to sabotage it."
Wait, why would people protest about something that makes them better and might get them out of a life threatening situation? Why would you not tell people that that is an option? If you're gonna die, might as well use everything you have. Hell, even shock implants are really useful. They can be used as locator beacons or to monitor people's health. Only reason people tried to remove those was because they were convicts and they could be used to track them and control their actions. People would probably only protest or try not to activate it if it was something bad and yet from what he is saying it is not bad. Therefore, he is lying or not telling me something and there is something bad about it. So he is both harming me and doing so without my knowledge and permission for unknown reasons. And not only that, he is doing that to everyone. I need to investigate this further. And probably in secret. Who knows who else is involved in this...

"And now to Rick with the weather."
"Thank you John. Today promises to be cloudy with a chance of MAKING IT RAIN."
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
"Good to hear it Rick. And now for our top story: Disney movies, cute family entertainment, or harbingers of the apocalypse?"

So, here's M22 payment. PW agreed to it via pm:
5 tokens base pay.
+1 for the people who actually went down into the colony.
Another +1 for those who got controlled by Steve and fought the arbiter that way.

I also asked for clarification on the apparent lack of brain damage from Green Storm, to avoid confusion in the future, and here's the verdict on that:
No one got brain damage this time; there were good end rolls all around.

Lucky you!
