How do I remove quality from bins/barrels/pots/cages
« on: July 17, 2015, 01:52:34 pm »

I am getting tired of having my dwarfs lose masterwork stuff when I dump it into magma to get rid of what is inside of it. I looked in the raw folder, but i cant figure out how to make bins, barrels, pots, and cages qualityless.

Not possible without dfhack I'm afraid.
With dfhack, highlight your item under "k", and type in itemquality 1 (I think? Haven't used it in a long time)

You can just dump the content, or use a mod-workshop to remove the content, aka "full barrel goes in, empty barrel goes out". That's easy to do.
