Yes, you'll have time to prepare. It's all about slowly building up your forces, and taking the humans by surprise and overwhelming them. Along with not being attacked by vampire hunters and rival vampires, too. Keep your enemies close, and always be properly paranoid, because even your allies can't be trusted. If you decide to join, have fun!
