No, it's mine!

Its a feature. Impregnating booze is a planned tech tree for dwarves and this is a sneak peek at it.
Unless you're past reproductive age. Then you're pretty much an extension of your kids' genitalia

Conduct and Mods

Overarching Modifications
1) Weapons have been tinkered some, with larger weapons such as pikes and mauls requiring more recovery and small weapons such as daggers and stilettos recovering quicker.
-Mauls have had their minsized up but have been buffed tremenduously  A Minotaur wielding one would likely be a huge prob.
-Shortswords have been tuned to make better stabbing implements than slashers.
2) Plants have had their growing durations increased and their seasons limited to reduced farming efficiency.
3) All of my assorted Critters.
4) All civilized critter (excepting kobolds) have gods either in a pantheon or as a single 'force'.

Misc. Mods
1) Gutted many of the animal-men.
2) Added giant phantom spiders and added thickwebs where appropriate.
3) Added some default skill to some of the creature_standards
4) All Civ critters have [skill_rate:40], which therapist tells me it reduces all skill-gains by half.  Go figure.

Dwarves
1) Altered their settlement preferences slightly.
2) Added the 'Large Dagger' as a standard weapon for them.

*Humans
1) Given a size-increase, with the average size of 75K.
2) Re-arraged their settlement preferences.  They are perhaps less prolific now.
3) Humans have access to steel, although it appears to be at best uncommon for them to use it.
4) The humans use Latin Language files.

*Overall, humans are weaker, and often bullied in worldgen, although the ones that stick around past their vulnerable early years tend to grow well.

*Elves
1)  Their bodily fluids cause syndroms.  All of the syndromes are non-lethal and 'support' in nature.
-Examples include numbing tears, and martial trance inducing sweat, and craze-causing spit.
2)  Elves possess natural skills in climbing, animal training and caretaking, woodcrafting, and swimming.
-Elves possess spells that enhance their animals and ability to harm others with wooden weapons.
-Elven spells include a spell to talk to animals, a spell to enlarge friendly animals, and  a spell to 'curse' enemies into rolling lower, take more damage from wood, and take more damage from fists, claws and teeth.
3)  Elves have special weapons, such as heavy wooden 'clubs', the stabby stiletto, and the ackward elven blowgun that shoots arrows.
4)  Elves have access to all marshlands as settlement locations now, allowing them more mobility.
The end result is that elves are excellent attackers in worldgen when using their animals.  On defense they are weaker.  They have been recorded to kill over half the demons in a world by the year 250 before.
*In player forts, they are observed to curse at dwarves if hostile or allow all the animals to vent their opinions to the dwarves.

Goblins
1) They have their size reduced to 55K from 60K
2) Not sure if this was my addition or just the default, but they can access most of the human weapons, presumably so that napped babies can use them
3) Goblin settlement speed has increased to help keep them competitive
4) Goblin have natural abilities in butchery and some generic combat skills.
5) Goblins have a 'Terrify Spell'  which
-Numbs the lungs, making suffocation easier.
-Potentially adds nausea and dizziness, decreasing combat effectiveness and (in the case of prolonged sieges) creating multiple clean-up jobs as dwarves hiding inside vomit out their lunches and consume booze faster.

Merlocks
1) Testing them in the more aesthetically pleasing :CITY].  Also they only tolerate cities, not like them, so they will form less of them.
2) The merlocks use the default human language files.
-Merlocks are my designed civ/creature.  They were inspired by the various orc mods, and of course the Morlocks from The Time Machine.  I was way too young to really understand them when I read the book, and the movie ::) is a movie.

I'm new to succession forts in general, yes, but do all forts designed by multiple overseers inevitably degenerate into a body-filled labyrinth of chaos and despair like this? Or is this just a Battlefailed thing?

There isn't much middle ground between killed-by-dragon and never-seen-by-dragon.
