Pray tell, what are the screw pumps and the bridge on the above ground magma pipeline for?

They contain the magma without providing support for the tower.

I laughed alot more than I should've reading that update. :P Well-played, sir Japa. We're hardly the largest or most beautiful succession tower in bay12, but the sheer level of mismanagement that goes on in this fort is hilarious. You can't help but love it.

I mean, half the tower doesn't have bedrooms, a veritable hoard of food is being squirreled away to a giant Smiley fort while our booze supply dwindles, with an equally-giant Cat looming over the landscape, and the only dwarves swimming in your swimming pool are dead bodies.

Meanwhile, the only thing standing between us and and oblivion are the twelve fine warriors of Constructivory (and one vigilante werebeast). As of late these are the most recent kill rankings, with Shipcat leading by a fair margin.

Just tidied up the front page as well. More images in the gallery, updated save/maps, formatted the census <40k characters, and added a little 'in recent news...' ticker at the beginning of the thread. Will have to see how it goes, but the plan now is to change it based on turn events - a teaser of sorts.

why kill elves if you could torture them, make them betray their friends, denounce their "force", make them watch trees being chopped down, feed them meat and throw them in magma as a sacrifice for almighty Armok?

Eventually when you go far enough the insane start becoming the sane

I for one can't wait till we get some magma hot sauce pumped into our burger. A lil' heat will help to alleviate the fact that we're eating what is essentially an ice-cold burger.

Gwolfski, remember to dorf Vortex as a random military dwarf, and RedMageCole should be RedMageCole III by now. Thanks!
