Slasa cookies, It seems that I did not clarify a certain point. You're actually supposed to write down your character asking the aspect to do it. So rather than putting it in bold, you have to make it like "Poke The Manipulator in the side with a needle, please"

Why was Nuclear Explosions even on the list? It's a shame I got Rocks instead of Rock, because then I could play The Final Countdown or something and win the game by destroying it.

Hey Derm,

I really am sorry to do this but I will have to clarify what I meant by aspect of grails. In my behind the scenes lore that I wrote down I specifically said that aspects are literally based on what they are. This meant that an aspect of cold did not have control over cruel sociopathic tendencies, and an aspect of fire did not have the ability to control rash and impulsive decision making. Now the reason for this is quite simple, it's mostly because these things are only synonyms in our English language. They are not synonyms in the language of the aspects. An example I want to give is a word in the Ukranian language. The word for castle and the word for lock are the same words. This does not mean that an aspect of locks also gets control of castles so why should it work that way for English. An aspect's power does not come from semantics, it merely comes from what they are. These names are mere labels on their effects. One more example, the aspect of change does not control the random coins in your pocket.

I feel really sorry for having to put my foot down like this and squash creativity, but I had written this in the behind the scenes lore (still WIP) so I feel like I shouldn't contradict it.

As compensation, I will tell you guys one of the secrets of necromancy. It requires an aspect of laziness/sloth. Use it to resurrect a corpse under the justification that you are creating something to do work instead of you, allowing you to be more lazy. After all, lazy people invent stuff like the washing machines and escalators all the time (does not exist in this universe).

Sorry Derm, write another action. I hope you understand. I would still like to hear your opinion on this though.
