15th Granite, 109, Early Spring
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
After months of travel we have finaly reached the area.
Seems that there is a river on one side and a mountain on the other....will make due for defenses. Hopefully we can make something out of this mess of an area.

16th Granite, 109
Mining the begining chambers of our fort has begun, So far so good.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Decided that I'm going to make the farm on the first level, hopefully this won't bite us in the butt later.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

After a short spiral stair case down, safe underground we have made our main chamber:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Time to make the gate

24th  Granite, 109
Chopping down lot's of trees! Time to build some channels and such!
I also may have just screwed up and trapped one of our miners:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

4'th of slate
I screwed up guys! I screwed up! Seems one of our miners decided to mine out two layers below where a channel would be and then go from the outside to the inside of the channel area cuasing it to fall with him. If it sounds confusing...well it is!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Well guess my death pit works...heh heh....damn dwarf couldn't mine correctly and it seems that the other miner isn't going to save him. Oh well

22nd Slate
Lokum to save the day!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

6th of Felsite
A giant Rattle snake is getting a bit too close to the fort for comfort, that and the horde of owl people flying over the fort, we should be fine.

13th of Felsite
Finally Lokum has started working on mining out the main chamber,Perhaps out guys will no longer have sleep in the dirt...excepts you Ineth, you sleep in the death chamber in a pool of your own vile, blood, and guts until someone gets you a crutch.

21st Felsite
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Decided to build a somewhat fortified area for the Trading depot, a small entrance hall way so to funnel any invaders who get through there through a lot of traps.
I'm conflicted about the death pit, lots of war dogs or lots of upwards standing spikes....perhaps a row of spikes under the initial drops and then dogs around the spikes to finish off any survivors...yah that sounds great!

27th Felsite
Welp Lokum struck the cave layer in the process of mining out the main chamber...this changes a lot of plans.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Oh boy the cave is filled only with things that want to kill us...as always!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Well here is what the new main fort area is going  to look like:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

going to hop off for the day now!

17th Hematite
Jeez Ineth is still there...at least he isn't bathing in his own blood and vile.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

2nd Malachite
so far so god, got a dormitory being made, a carpenters and mason's workshops up.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

3rd Malachite
looks like the rodent men are fighting a troll
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
seems they poked enough holes in  it that it bled to death.

I'll update more later

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Another miner to replace Ineth

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Hello future goblin bait...though I guess i can be nice and let Ingis and Kib have their child

Other migrants include a goat and a cat

Making Ingis and Kib miners

3rd Galena
Oh boy looks like those rat men woke up a spider!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I was thinking of trying to slowly move into the caves, guess I was wrong.

5th of galena
Ordered up a ton of mechanics to be made, going to make as many traps as i can. Also going to put a lever to the trade area bridge, I will keep it closed until traders come...hopefully we will be perfectly fine...heh heh heh we're all going to die!

7th Galena
Seems our only working miner, Lokum, has formed a grudge with out expedition leader. Hopefully nothing will come from this.

20th Galena
seems the rat men are going around killing the trolls.  Time to watch the smack down between  the giant rattle snake, Giant Tick, and The 5 ratmen who have killed plenty of trolls and creatures...BUT that'll have to wait till later tonight when I hope to finish off my turn tonight.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
'
well I guess that  Ineth loosing it was bound to happen, I hope Lokum doesn't stress out over this.

16th Limestone
The outpost arrived!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Let's see what they have to tell us
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
well that's nice

I'm mainly going to ask for iron,  copper, and silver bars along with some mail, spears, and cross bows to get a basic military set up. A couple anvils to help us out. Going to ask for some livestock to help our fort out. Asking for some crutches and splints to help get our hospital started.

here's the export agreement agreement:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

More detail can be found under the civilizations menu just hit 'c' then hit enter on the dwarven civ and hit tab twice

6th Sandstone
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
hospitals finished!

11th Sandstone
MORE MIGRANTS!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
A fine replacement for our brewer!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
This man will certainly replace our lost miner.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Yah, you do sound worried infact!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Farmer walking!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
We will have plenty of farmers!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I see great worth in you

Other creatures that came were a goat, a mule, and a turkey

This is what our fort's population is looking like
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Let's see how Oddom is:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Yep..so glad i got those crutches

3rd Timber
Seems a giant tick tried to attack Eshtan, but Eshtan jumped out of the way of every attack before the giant tick just kinda walked off

8h of timber The giant smack down begins! Many die and even in the end the spider, Zoradnaza, dies!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Seems that two of the rodent men widdled down the spider's strength enough to allow one to cleave the thorax off!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Only 5 rat men remain, 10 originally came, 1 left, 4 died. The spider was what was killing them, picking them off one by one.
The spider slayer:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Nothing much has happened so far, just finishing up my turn. I will have the fort up tomorrow morning for Gworlfski and he can begin his turn early.
