I started a game and decided that I will play without fast travel mode.
It's been very interesting so far so I decided to post my adventures here!

Rulak is on a quest to kill Spiderriddles, the demon who resides in Hellknights

Rulak's friend Zostra told him that the army of Perom chapelstandard, the lord of crowconjured is marching on starwaters.
Rulak quickly packed all he had (and took a cauldron full of water 166 units) and he and Zostra embarked to starwaters, passing through smileyelled on the way, where they took some food. While rushing to starwaters they killed and butchered several small birds for food.
They arrived to small ravine created by a brook and were unable to cross. They followed the river up stream and got to the source. After replenishing they're water supplies (like it was needed) they continued to starwaters un-obstructed. A couple of days after leaving smileyelled they reached the retreat. Starwaters was surprisingly devoid of all civilized life.
"What do you think we should do Rulak?" asked Zostra.
"We're going to crowconjured" he replied confidently "maybe Perom is still there. We may be able to persuade her to abort the attack, and if we fail we will fight her!"
"Okay" Zostra said hesitantly. he didn't want Rulak to battle Perom himself.
After a day and a night of travel the friends saw the mead hall.
Rulak opened the door seeing Perom sit on her throne, seemingly disturbed by something.
"How have things been?" asked Rulak, although he didn't really care to know the answer.
"The emerald nightmares are waging war with us because of plant treatment!" said Perom with a sad voice.
At that moment Rulak changed his mind.
"I want to be your hearthsperson."
"You're not worthy yet." said Perom.
"Com'n Zostra, We're going back to starwaters."
Rulak marched out of the meadhall furiously leaving Zostra confused. He had to become Perom's Hearthsperson and fight against the elves.
On their return to starwaters Rulak. searched every corner of the retreat to find some elves to fight and prove to Perom that he is worthy to fight the war. But someone was watching him.
All of a sudden a copper whip lashed his iron gauntlet bruising the skin beneath it. Rulak turned around and saw an elf.
He swung +iron two-handed sword+ against the elf but he parried it with his copper whip. then he started to run.
"Stay here Zostra!" yelled Rulak as he started to chase after the elf. he cornered him at the river that irrigated starwaters.
They exchanged blows but all were either parried blocked or missed entirely
Then he got an idea. Half-swording!
Grabbing the blade of his sword he thrust it in the elf's abdomen spilling his guts.
Another time he half-sworded and cut apart his left lung. The elf now mortally wounded couldn't defend himself from Rulak.
Finally Rulak stabbed him in the head, killing him.
"His dead!" said Rulak when he returned to Zostra.
"Good! It is done! I think that was Sethe Foughtincenses, The Elvish robber we heard of in stokedoak."
"Well Perom will sure have to respect that!" said Rulak.
Upon returning to crowconjured Rulak found Perom even more miserable than the last time.
"I killed Sethe foughtincenses!"
"I don't care.(it was inevitable)"
"What's the problem?"
"My son has been
kidnapped rescued to hellknights 7 years ago. He is turning twelve this year. What if he got brainwashed by the goblins?"
"Who runs hellknights?"
"Spiderriddles the doomed mirror. Why?"
"I'm gonna kill him and you'll know i'm worthy!"
"I can't let you go there alone. Take some of my men."
"Thank you Perom." said Rulak.
Soon he assembled a party of seven, taking 5 hearthspersons of Perom. They were:
Tegism feleri, the axewoman; Ontha ronikjol the crossbowwoman; Mogast nikgospo the hammerwoman;
Dunem apugsenre the halberdier and Isi xakedvicu, the spearman.
"Is anyone of you well traveled?"
"No." they admitted.
"Damn." cursed Rulak. Luckily at a well in crowconjured they found Kima relievestrike, the mercenary. she was well traveled, so they recriuted her.
"Stasost wraithdanced occupied the ruins of empiregitter." said Kima "We should go there and drive her out."
"Fight against goblins? I don't think we are ready for that." said Rulak concerned.
"Well you're going to hellknights aren't you?"
"Okay" said Rulak "but we will need another soldier."
And in stokedoak, they found her: Dodok nilesalath, the swordwarf, she also was well traveled.
"So we're going to empireglitter apparantly." said Rulak hesitantly.
They arrived in the middle of the night immediately noticing many towers made out of rock, from which Rulak could hear several voices.
He barged in and slashed a goblin in the neck tearing some muscle. The goblin and several other ran away, with Rulak's allies chasing after them, while Rulak was left to fight alongside with Mogast the two gobbos that remained.
Mogast broke the bones of one goblin and Rulak beheaded him. the other goblin to died to Rulak's hands too. He exited the tower and waited for his party to regroup. All the goblins that ran from the tower were slain and none of his allies was even scratched.
They went up to a great building in the north of the hamlet, sensing that Stasost is in there. Rulak snuck into the building and there she was: Stasost. He stabbed her in the stomach, lodging his sword into the wound. Terrified, Stasost fired her crossbow and the bolt hit Rulak in the right lower arm.
Rulak woke up seeing Stasost in the corner of the room with his +iron two-handed sword+ stuck in her stomach, and her had cleaved assunder.
there were two more goblins in the room fighting Dunem. Rulak stood up and went up to Stasost corpse just to find out he cannot hold the sword in his right hand. So he took the sword and somehow carried it in his left hand along with his shield. He aided Dunem who killed one of the two goblins and knocked the other one out. Rulak kept swinging his sword at the unconscious goblin's head, but to no avail. finally he strapped his shield and the +iron two-handed sword+ to his upper body, and took of the goblins helm. un-sheathing his blade again, he beheaded him.
After the battle he called his allies to gather so he can check their wounds. Only Dodok was wounded and the wound was a slight bruising on her arm.
"Who killed Stasost?"
"I did." said Dodok.
Tomorrow he was able to move his arm and carry his sword but the wound got infected. Luckily they didn't need to wander the wilderness. There was a road that lead to actdies, which the goblins used to rob the town, and commerce with the criminals in the town.
The town guards apparently thought Rulak was a known villian.
Rulak wanted to talk with the lord of actdies and told his companions to wait on the streets so he could talk one on one.He entered the keep and was horrified.
The lord was en elf. Overcome by emotion Rulak slaughtered everyone in the keep. After realizing what he has done he burnt the corpses and snuck away.
"We are leaving!" yelled Rulak at his allies. He only ever told what he has done to Dunem.
So that's Rulak's story and the adventure so far. I will be posting more as i progress through the game.
