I take it that in actual combat, people won't fare too well by doing a full-transformation as it prevents the extraction of crystal hearts? What happens if someone uses a devouring attack on a Yami? Is it still just spilled Essence, or do they get something else?

It would count as spilling the essence, not getting it.

Right, so you can't eat the Yami, but you can eat other magical girls. Guess that makes groups attacks more viable, for whatever definition of "group attack" permits most of the group to contribute in the form of their nutritional value ^__^

5. Crystal hearts can be consumed to increase the level of your stats and qualities, though the number needed to raise the stat or quality by one point depends on how high the stat or quality is. Physical stats below superhuman require only 1 heart per point increase, while they then require an additional heart for each level above that (limited heroic needs 2 hearts, heroic needs 3, etc). Magic requires 1 heart for levels 1-3, and then 2 for 4-6, 3 for 7-10 and so on.

Shouldn't that be 3 for 7-9?

Nah, 5 players was the max I wanted for this game when it was done, let alone now.

That could be a very different level of difficulty depending on who you ask. How many people did you kill in Perplexicon Toaster?

Hm.  Pre-Worldshift I got... six kills.  Afterwards, I think I only killed two players, but that was pretty spectacular.

And I'd say where?  In a megamall, so there's collateral damage and stuff to break.  Difficulty?  Moderate for the first test, so we can maybe win and try again.

I'd like a relatively challenging fight in an urban setting. Make it a bit harder than you would for the actual game; make us bleed a bit.
