"Rain" (Xvareon)
Hmm... that's ok, I can turn this to my advantage.
I grimace, bringing a hand up to my forehead. "Oi, keep your voice down...! Agh... dammit. Name's Jodie, ok? Happy? Look, I've got a hangover, alright? I was just heading to the mess to get some ice." If they say they've never heard of any guard named Jodie here, I reply, "Oh, and you remember the names of everyone workin' here, do you? Bet you can't even get up to ten."
If this stick-up-the-ass guard is still yelling at me for proof or w/e after that, I scowl, and reach for my Guard communicator. I then turn the volume almost all the way up and start playing back the messages. "THERE, HAPPY? CAN I FUCKING GO NO--..." And then I act surprised when I hear the gunshots and screams playing back rather loudly. "...What the hell?"
I'll leave their reactions up to them. Though it should be pretty believable that, if I do indeed have a hangover, I wouldn't check the communicator as I just wouldn't want the ear-splitting headache from it and nothing happens on the job anyway. If any of the guards step forward to try and search me or check my eyes or anything, I only allow surface touches -- any pat-downs will be met with a firm shove, followed by a generous application of pepper spray to the face if they persist. All while cursing at them for being creeps. Fluently. Besides, it's already very clear that my gun is bigger than anything these shmucks've got in their pants.
Otherwise, if it seems they want to keep me around or something, that's fine. I'm here to look for a specific guard, anyway... heh heh. If they do let me go, this gives me an excuse to take the route that runs between the cell blocks to make it look like I'm going to check out the noises.
But I'm not hoping for much, honestly. Rain isn't specced for covert ops or anything. But she can play the role of an irritated guard with a mild hangover pretty well.

You grimace and put your hand up to your forehead, but before you can say anything the robed man begins speaking to his companions.
"To punish this woman for her ignorance would make us sinners, for the desire of the treacherous is violence."<Reaction=6>
Such wise words from an earnest man. You can't help but feel some level of respect for him. His gracious words even cause you to feel a little guilty about being here to raid the prison, but you quickly shake off the feeling. You won't let sentimentality distract you from your mission. After he speaks, the man holding the taser lowers his weapon while the other guard scoffs and rolls his eyes. You divert your full attention to the robed man as he takes a few steps toward you. With a voice of pure compassion and understanding, he asks you a simple question.
"Who are you?"You feel the urge to confess your true identity, but successfully fight off the feeling. Now to proceed with your plan.
<Charisma=5>
"Oi, keep your voice down...! Agh... dammit. Name's Jodie, ok? Happy? Look, I've got a hangover, alright? I was just heading to the mess to get some ice."You say your words with conviction and annoyance. Your acting is flawless. You notice the robed man look at you quizzically, but his expression soon changes to one of sympathy. Your eyes remain focused on the robed man, but you hear one of the other men speak.
"A hangover, eh? Heh, I've been there. Sorry to hear-" The man suddenly stops speaking, as if he was cut off. You finally look away from the robed man to see what's going on. The other two men are both staring at a young woman. Oh, when did she get here? You didn't even notice when she arrived. The woman is dressed as a guard and kind of tall. She's staring at you with fear in her eyes. She has a baton and a knife drawn, pointing both of them toward you. As she walks backwards while trembling, you hear one of the men speak, clearly concerned.
"Woah, Aria, what's wrong?"
Seconds later, she responds, loudly.
"NONONONONO! SHE'S EVIL! SHE'LL KILL US ALL! AHHHH! RUN!"You watch as Aria runs south through the library doors, flailing her arms and screaming while she goes. Well....that happened. As you continue staring at the library doors that Aria ran through, you hear a new voice that's dripping with arrogance.
"Ugh, crazy woman. So, Jodie. That's a new name. How strange. As a talented individual with an excellent memory, I find it very unusual that I haven't yet encountered anyone with that name. I practically run this place after all. Why is it that I don't recall meeting you, hmm?"You turn to face the speaker. It's the third guard, a chubby Caucasian man. His uniform has several food stains on it. He's staring at you with mild suspicion and a smug expression on his face. He's chewing something.
"Oh, and you remember the names of everyone workin' here, do you? Bet you can't even get up to ten."Ouch, burn! The chubby guard immediately flinches and spits out his chewing gum in surprise. His prideful demeanor has vanished. Now he's mumbling angrily to himself, trying to think of a retort. The guy with the taser is smirking and trying to hold back his laughter. He looks like he's enjoying this. However, despite his bruised ego, the chubby man speaks up again.
"Gah, don't give me any lip! Unlike you lazy drunkards, I actually do my job." As he talks, he looks intensely at both you and the other guard like something he scraped off the bottom of his shoe.
"Stop being so irresponsible. You're supposed to make sure the prison is secure. Have you even checked your communicator? Evidently, you don't know what's going on. Not surprising, I might add. If you are truly a guard, then your incompetence rivals even that moron Harold."You scowl at the chubby guy and withdraw your Guard communicator. You set the volume high and start playing the messages. You don't listen that closely to the first message. Just a bunch of people talking and yelling. Instead, you yell over it as it plays.
"THERE, HAPPY? CAN I FUCKING GO NO--..." After you hear gunshots and screams from the communicator, you act surprised, despite actually having a pretty good idea of what's actually going on. "
...What the hell?"Your charade is done flawlessly. The robed guard appears to be convinced. The second guard is rolling his eyes at the other guard and already putting his taser away. The arrogant guy is looking at you disdainfully, but seems to believe you. Two more messages played from the communicator, but you were so focused on the guards that you ignored them. Your Guard communicator is still playing messages, but it can stopped at any time.
Your location is designated by the R. There are 3 guards standing in front of the library near you.
Attributes:
[Expertise] You are prepared and know how to use your tools properly. While doing any action requiring the use of weapons or items, if you roll a 1, you will roll again and use the new roll. This Attribute will only activate once per turn.
Status: Normal
Inventory: Guard Uniform(disguised), Communicator(Silent, 2 messages), Flashlight(held, on), Shotgun(6 shots), Brass Knuckles, Swiss Army Knife, Helmet, Gauze Bandages, Guard Communicator(Playing messages, 5 messages remain), Pistol(2 Rubber Bullets), Dazzler(98 uses), and Can of Pepper Spray(6 uses).
Note: I debated whether your Expertise Attribute should have caused your Awareness roll to be re-rolled, but decided against it this time since there was a chance that you wouldn't have used any items if everything went smoothly. Regardless, your low awareness only resulted in you missing some minor details and a few messages.

Short Johnny (SaberToothTiger)
"Ah, I tink we should bust in da armory, get da guns and break what we don't take and interrogate the warden."
Put my ear to the door and listen for a while, if I hear nothing, I open the door, search the corpse of the guard, take a key if he has one, then go to the armory. If I hear something on the other side, I'm going t obe all quiet and show Ethan to do the same.
"Sounds good to me, dude. Let's do it!"

As Ethan loudly gets his stuff together, you immediately put your ear against what you think is the door. It feels a bit cold. You can barely hear some kind of low-volume white noise coming from the other side, but you're not sure what it is.
"Uh, bro, why are you trying to listen to the fridge? Let's get going. I'll take you to the armory quietly."
You feel Ethan grab your arm and guide you. As you both walk, you hear Ethan open the door to exit the break room. You don't hear anyone else nearby. You can smell the scent of blood in the area. You decide to check the guard corpse for a key, but Ethan just keeps pulling you along. He doesn't seem to know what you want to do. You break free from Ethan's grasp and try to find the guard's corpse.
<Coordination=1-2>
<Ethan Mental=1>
<Endurance=2>
You crawl around in search of the corpse. Unfortunately, the smell of blood is all over the place, so you aren't able to navigate to the body using your sense of smell. As you crawl, you feel a sudden sensation of pain as your hand touches something that was laying on the ground. Something very sharp. It feels like broken glass. As you hold up your bleeding hand and begin loudly yelling profanities, you smell the distinct scent of vomit somewhere nearby. The scent is faint. After you finish yelling, you hear Ethan finally speak.
"Dude, you gotta be careful! Didn't you know there was broken glass on the floor? It's from your night vision goggles so you should have know-" Suddenly Ethan stops mid sentence. You hear him slap his forehead. "Oh! Right! You can't see the glass. Sorry pal. I'll try to warn you about this stuff next time."
You hear Ethan walk toward you. He's standing next to you now.
"Hey man, why were you even crawling on the floor? No offense, but I can't read your mind. Eh, let's keep going. I'll take a look at your hand on the way."
Ethan once again grabs you and guides you along. You feel him examining your injured hand as you both walk, but he doesn't say anything yet. After walking along for a little while, Ethan stops walking. You hear him looking through his inventory.
"Well, I think I can fix your hand. It's not too serious of an injury. Just give me a second to grab the stuff I need to use. Right now we're outside of the security room that connects to the armory. I think I can hear someone in the room, banging on a door."

Goon McGoon (conein)
You actually made me feel bad about myself. I should feel ashamed. And I dont even know whats going on.
shoot Chris with my shotgun. I mean, if the knife guy is with me he will realize I am with him, otherwise fuck.
<Agility=4>
<Awareness=4+1>
While you tuck your flashlight under your arm and ready your shotgun, you look toward Chris. He's still holding his baton, but he hasn't taken another step toward the unknown person. He's trembling. You hear him breathing heavily. His facial expression is one of pure despair. As you point your shotgun toward his chest, he looks toward you, staring with tearful eyes. You pull the trigger.
<Aim=4+1>
<Chris Endurance=4+1>
Your aim is perfect. It was such a clean shot that you didn't even mess up your clothes. Blood is gushing out of the large hole in Chris's chest. He lets go of his baton, but remains standing with his eyes wide open. He's still staring at you. You see him mouth the word "Why?" as he turns pale. He collapses to the ground seconds later. He's dead.
With that grim task complete, you return your shotgun to its proper place. The unknown person is still moving, but slower now. You immediately shine your flashlight on the person.
It's an older man with grayish-black hair, a mustache, and a single earing in his right ear. He's wearing a guard uniform, but is somewhat sloppily dressed. His shirt is on backwards and his vest is inside out. You can see this he is gripping a bloody axe with both hands. His eyes are half closed like he's struggling to stay awake. He's stumbling as he moves toward you.
<Recognition=3>
You're pretty sure you've met the man. That would mean he's on your team, though you don't recall his name right now. Since he's holding that axe, you're pretty sure he was the guy using a codename like "The Axeman" or "Axemania" or something like that. There was somebody on the team who was really into axes.
As you contemplate his identify, you see him suddenly drop his axe and collapse to the ground. You walk a few more steps toward him and can see that he is now unconscious. As you examine him closer, you find a tranquilizer dart sticking out of left arm. You shine your flashlight around and see Lana's bloody headless body up against the north wall of Cell Block 2. Next to the body is a flashlight and a tranquilizer gun.
Well, with Lana and Chris both dead and your ally out cold, it looks like it's just you now. Since Chris's death and your ally's forced nap happened so quickly, you have time to think about your options.
<Mental=5>
Well, all these bodies probably have stuff you can use. Searching them for useful gadgets might be a good idea. You could probably even "borrow" your teammate's communicator. Then you'd be able to check what's going on and report your status. You could even grab one of the guard communicators off Lana or Chris if you want to find out what your enemies are up to. However, there probably isn't a way for you to wake up your axe-wielding buddy just yet. You'll probably need to wait a little while for the tranquilizer to wear off.
