Also quicksand doesn't make people sink. It's mostly water, so people float.

Hmm.  So we need to either defend our drop ships better or develop something to deploy on the ground, something devastating.

I think we should upgrade our current dropships into being more maneuverable and having defenses, once we have an all around better drop ship that has at least a chance at defending itself we can then go air superiority or deploy operation release laser shooting rats, RLSR for short.

Edit:It also looks like our soldiers and dropships did HORRIBLY and still managed to win.

Sounds good. Think we can chuck on a plasma weapon while we're at it?

Well, rolls aren't everything.

Your dropships can only really be harmed by their special missiles, and they have no ground forces off their own.

You might want to inform them of that last bit, out of fairness :P

They know. But do note, no ground forces does not mean no resistance. Don't expect to take over China with a single soldier, though, I suppose you could create one that could.

Our drones don't have a carrying capacity of any sort. And trying to mine the planet itself is a waste o time with the resources out in the asteroid belt and other planets.

Here's a thought:

An extremely invasive, nigh unkillable Kudzulike plant that processes oxygen into the gasses we need to breath. Not a doomsday weapon, but definitely will make it much harder for them to fight us in areas we seed it in.

Nah, too much effort, and we're trying to assimilate them, not kill them off.

How would that be too much effort? That's an easy one.

And we can assimilate the survivors.

Well, we'd have to stop them burning it all for one. And two, we'd actually have to ensure the plant can survive on the earth. And I think we're going to need a little more experience working on the earth.

Do you know how Kudzu works? Burning it does nothing. It just grows again.

This is an irl plant mind you.

As for plants that terraform. We are a spacefaring race. Of course we have some already.
