Crap, I actually forgot that the Snipers were the ones attacking Abstract (re-read the turn). Then again, my character wouldn't know that (unless he does) so I'm keeping my action the same.

Sorry guys, I was sent off on camp a couple days ago, I'm back now, though, so that's good.
The Spirit Of Force gives an impressive show of wonder, and brushes himself off before standing up and turning to look the flase spirit in the eye.
"Well, I really must be going now, it has been quite fun speaking to you, however." He turns to leave, but then stops at the door, and speaks again.
"I feel I should warn you, from one spirit to another, do not lie to these people, tell them the truth, and you may be spared, either that, or you may fufill your duty as spirit, but lie, and I will fulfil my namesake, no matter how I may have gotten it, I'll give you one day to do so, or I will do it for you."
Okay, while he's thinking about that, talk to the our tribe leader about the third tribe, why do they hate us so much, and if there is anything that may be able to fix relationships between them.

Round 37: Conquistador Calamity Pt. 2
Location: Denmark, Wisconsin
Weather Conditions: Snow (12.5 inches)
Time: Morning

Elephant Parade works tirelessly to perfect his Musket song while the crowd filters out around him, thinning as the song is adjusted and tweaked. (10+2) Like a bolt of lighting, inspiration strikes Elephant. With just a few adjustments to the melody and shifting the time signature, yes, yes! This will surely be a smash hit. He excitedly looks around his surroundings for an audience only to find that he is on his own, standing alone in a now deserted city of tents.

Ukrainian Ranger is infuriated by her wound instead of being stopped by it, and takes her anger out on the same Conquistador who inflicted it upon her. (9 vs. 6-2) The Martial Master roars while she jabs the blade of her Katana into the Conquistador, piercing through his armor and digging deep into his chest. She draws her blade out, blood pooling out around her target as he exsanguinates. [+1 Conquistador Point] Her face contorted into a glare of fury, she turns her attention to  the other Wiki-Warriors, particularly Salsacookies who waits outside the main area of battle, loading up his Grenade Launcher. Ukrainian charges the snowmobile, Katana held high, (4 vs. 9) and her battle cry alerts Salsa to her presence. As she closes in, the Olympian accelerates his vehicle and swerves around her, Ukrainian's blade cutting through nothing but thin air. (5 vs. 3) Salsacookies drives by her on his way to the front of the battle, and frees up one hand to give her a solid jab to the stomach as he passes by, sending Ukrainian to her knees if only for a moment. (Endurance Roll: 6) Despite all of her blood loss, Ukrainian manages to stand back up, feeling more anemic than usual.

Execute decides to conclude his meeting with Ihiyo, "Well, I really must be going now, it has been quite fun speaking to you, however." Just before he reaches the great doors at the front of the temple, he pauses. "I feel I should warn you, from one spirit to another, do not lie to these people, tell them the truth, and you may be spared, either that, or you may fulfill your duty as spirit, but lie, and I will fulfill my namesake, no matter how I may have gotten it, I'll give you one day to do so, or I will do it for you." Execute doesn't even bother to stay around and listen to the "Great Spirit's" reaction before he spreads his wings and departs for home.
Tenochtitlan is the same as Execute remembers it when he returns; peasants toilet, soliders patrol, diplomats spread the word of his coming to far away lands. The (former?) Russian Prince visits the Emperor to discuss the relationship between the Aztecs and the Artawa, particularly interested in how it soured. "There is no point in trying to convert the Artawa people. They are savages and imbeciles, their hatred of us stems from our ability to defend ourselves from their vicious conquest. Perhaps you could call upon a spirit of plague to strike them down." The Emperor smiles at this last request, marking it clearly as a joke and not a serious demand of Execute.

Greatness relays his current position to the rebels on the other side of the radio, but all his attempts at contact are met with static. He turns to the battle, stowing the radio away and pulling out his own newly acquired AR15, pointing the barrel at the Conquistador who harmed his teammates, but Ukrainian swiftly takes care of that. He shifts focus to the two soldiers riding on top of a potato, gunning down the Conquistadors with reckless abandon. (7 vs. 1) Greatness takes his time lining up a shot, focusing down the sights and following the trail of the motorized starch until he has it down perfectly. He fires off a burst, failing to hit the driver, but directly hitting the gunner behind him who topples off of the vehicle and falls down on his back.

High Tyrol continues to keep her finger on the trigger of her machine guns, aiming to ruthlessly slaughter the fleeing Conquistadors. (8 vs. 7) The next volley of bullets manages to hit one of the runners, wounding him as he falls over clutching his leg, but failing to hamper any of the other 4 who continue to sprint their hardest. At this rate, if no one can stop them within a couple turns, they could get out of the city Scott-free!

Abstracts car idles on the side of the road as he stares out into the distance, breathing heavily. "T-That....was....unpleasant." With everyone calmed down, he drives into the city of Green Bay which is quiet this morning and calm, the whole city seeming completely unaware of what was happening just a few miles down the road. Abstract lets the mother and her children off at a designated drop off point, a gymnasium; she hurriedly thanks him under her breath without a smile before ushering her children into the building. Autumn stares at Abstract, he feels as if her piercing hazel eyes penetrate through her soul. "Ever since they decided to host that terrible game show in Wisconsin, things have been getting out of hand. First Denmark, then who knows, Green Bay? The whole state?" She sits forward with an elbow propped up on the dashboard, her closed hand resting on her head. "...we should get out of here and go somewhere nice, far away."

Salsacookies, having successfully shaken off Person, speeds right past the Conquistadors, aiming at them with one hand while his other hand guides the steering mechanism; turns out high-speed Grenade Launcher drives-bys aren't the easiest thing to pull off. (Explosives Roll: 3-1[Difficulty]) Rather than launching itself deep into the ranks of the Conquistadors, the first grenade embeds itself in the ground right next to Salsa. (5) The explosion knocks Salsacookie off of his Snowmobile which is sent accelerating off into the distance, the Barbell Hammer flies off and lands in a snowbank several feet away. Salsa, for his part, rolls across the snow like a ragdoll, though he remains alive, only now he is adorned with a big fragment of metal shrapnel embedded in his Left Elbow.

Hawk looks for cover, (2) and comes across a convenient waist-high pile of rubble, nice! Hawk runs up and presses his body against the pile of metal and brick; when faced with his physical force, the pile disintegrates, falling apart into its various components and leaving Hawk in an even worse position than he started out. Hawk shoots at more Conquistadors to rectify his problem of no cover. (4 vs. 2) Hawk sprays at a couple of the Conquistadors and hits one in the hand, forcing him to drop his Musket. Surely that counts for something?

"Nice shot. Onward! Keep them off our backs!" Person commends his companion as the Conquistador he had previously wounded expires. [+1 Conquistador Point] The Buffalo Soldier smiles, a rare sight from the jaded warrior, proud of the compliment he received from his commanding officer, "Thank you sir! I'll keep us going until-" The soldier's words are lost to the wind as falls from the Spudmobile. Unsure of what had just happened, Dad slows his vehicle to a halt and looks behind him; he spots his ally lying on the snowy soil, his eyes aimlessly staring upwards, his uniform turning a deep maroon and a smile now etched permanently on his face. Before his emotions take the better of him, Person's eyes dart to a single figure around fifty feet away dressed in Samurai gear and pointing a rifle straight at him. (1+2 vs. 5) The WWI Vet fires two bullets at Greatness, who ducks down and weaves to the left, unphased by the pistol fire. (6 vs. 4) There is a flash from the rifle and then Person feels a burning sensation on his chest; there is a gash through his left breast that has torn through his uniform, a long wound spilling his blood but thankfully superficial as it had skimmed across his chest rather into it.

3 Conquistadors remain in the lot they spawned in, preparing to fight off the Wiki-Warriors to the death.
One of the Conquistadors, witnessing Salsacookies great failure to kill them all which resulted self-inflicted harm, charges upon him with his unloaded musket. (2+1 vs. 6) The Spaniard takes his gun and swings the butt at Salsa, who's injury does not stop him from ducking under the attack. (7 vs. 1) Underneath his opponent, Salsacookies rises with an uppercut that smashes directly into the Conquistador's jaw, the full force of the muscle-man's hit is enough to send the Conquistador off of his feet and backwards onto the ground, laying unconscious.
The next Conquistador fires his just-reloaded musket at Ukrainian, alerted by her new enraged state where she swings at both Old and Modern people alike. (4 vs. 9) Ukrainian stands still for a moment, leading to the Conquistador to thinking that he got her, only for her to look over his shoulder and glare at him with a single bloodshot eye, indicating that he had failed to hit her at all, and has instead attracted her attention. He fumbles with his gear, dropping with his musket and trying to pull out his sword as the businesswoman comes barreling down on him. (2 vs. 4) In the nick of time, the Conquistador pulls his sword out and blocks a horizontal slash that could have very well taken off one of his legs.

The other 4 Conquistador continue to run as fast as they can, closing in on the city limits.

Breaking News: A group of criminals suspected to be linked to previous coordinated attacks on police in the region appeared again earlier today to intercept a police-escorted convoy transporting the refugees from the city of Denmark, struck yesterday by what is reported to have been a gas-pipe related disaster. The following shootout left 5 dead, including 3 police officers, and 15 wounded. None of the criminals were killed or arrested at any point, all of them escaping into the nearby forest area. While initially suspected to be a gang of four to six people, an attack of this magnitude has led authorities to believe that there are anywhere from twelve to twenty suspects. Residents are urged to stay indoors and report any suspicious activity.

Alright, so, another proposal, this time a revision to existing Kill Absorption Rules: "When Kill Absorptions are calculated, they are rounded up rather than down, i.e. a 3 Kill Contestant is worth 2 Points, a 5 Kill Contestant is worth 3 Points, etc. I believe this more accurately reflects the value of players with higher kill counts and gives more reward for whomever is able to take them down. The average number of kills per player so far has been between 0 and 1 kills. Getting 1 kill can be a fluke, a stroke of luck, even two kills can be attributed to just the roll of the dice favoring one player over another. By the time someone reaches 3 Kills? It means that they have something going on, whether that be favorable skills or cunning strategy, whatever it is, they are racking up a lot of kills. A 3 Kill player represents more threat, and thus, more reward in targeting them. And by the time they reach 5 Kills? They are a substantial enough threat that they should be worth a whopping three Kills & Articles for yourself if you can figure out how to stop them.

I believe this also keeps the momentum going in the game. Under the originally rules, if a 1-Kill player took out a 5-Kill player, the former would become a 3-Kill; bigger and badder, certainly, but compare that to if they became a 4-Kill, likely becoming as powerful if not more than whomever they just slayed. Each and every Kill counts, not only in getting players to the coveted game-ending 10-Kill Spot, but because each new Article is a new opportunity for a fighter jet, projectile venom spit, and so on.
And yeah, I do want to get to the end of this game eventually so that we can have a nice shift in location.
What do y'all think?

Also, I'll make some clarifications on different types of reloading for ranged weapons. I'll label everyone's equipment accordingly and I'll stick this in the OP:

Types of Reloading:

Quick Reload - These weapons can be reloaded without a substantial time investment from their users. If your ranged weapon does not have its type of reloading specified next to it, assume it is a Quick Reload weapon. The only time a Quick Reload will greatly effect your gameplay is if it is done for some reason in close quarters combat, such someone engaging you in an ongoing fight while you are in striking range. If you try a Quick Reload while someone is close enough to say, take a free swing at you without needing to run at you first, they will get a free retaliating attack before you can finish reloading to commence with your own attack. Common Quick Reloading Weapons include most Handguns, Machine Pistols, SMGs, and Bows.

Moderate Reload -  These weapons take longer than the previous type to reload, but the reload is fast enough to keep you in a fight. You can perform a Moderate Reload before shooting, but this will allow your opponent, regardless of their type of weapon, to counter-attack before you attack rather than afterwards. Common Moderate Reload Weapons include most Rifles, Muskets, Crossbows, and Flamethrowers.

Long Reload - The reloading for these weapons are very time intensive and thus you can not perform any combat during your turn. (If an enemy attacks you during their turn and are unsuccessful, you will still counter-attack.) As for other actions, you can perform quick actions while Long Reloading, such as diving for nearby cover, but you will not be able to do things like quickly sprint away or climbing. Common Long Reload Weapons include Sniper Rifles, Grenade Launchers, and Rocket Launchers.

Holy crap! Did I just kill the Buffalo Soldier with one volley? That's pretty cool, I must say. Also, sorry for the last two posts, I speed read, and that requires skimming sometimes.

I aim down my sights, and fire another 3 round volley at Person, as he's the closest target (I think). After firing, I take cover and attempt to use the radio to call The Police to our location, they should be able to spare at least one Officer to come over, right?

Also, that Kill Absorption change might work, it would be cool to see, at least.

That... May be possible, actually, check out the remaining ship, any bed-sheets or other articles of clothing available there?
No matter the answer, let's check out the other spirit, see how he's doing, bring along our faithful servant equipped with his dagger and musket, if the musket can fit inside his robes without drawing too much attention, bring him only by my side, if he can't, set him up in a good sniping position using my 2+ to military strategy while I meet the other spirit, if he's accepted what I said and told who he truly is to his people, then give him to the villagers for judgement, if he hasn't, challenge him to a battle of strength between us and us alone.

((Could seeing if I find any blankets or clothes in the ship and finding out if he's revealed himself for the fake he is be a free action?))

"What!? No! Your death will not be in vain!"

Fire at Ukrainian Ranger to claim the kill. Get away from the battlefield in my vehicle. I'll reclaim his body later, and get my revenge.

Well damn. He sure got the red shirt treatment didn't he. Then again, that's about the result I would expect from a 7v1 roll.

I'd like that change to kill absorption by the way. As a side note, what was the verdict on important NPCs being worth kills? Pretty sure my soldier would have counted as one if that passed though. I might have opposed that, but if it went through I wouldn't want you to miss that sort of thing.

Edit: And here we are.

Spoiler: AAR:37 (click to show/hide)

(The plot thickens. Basically Graham has been watching/commentating the wars so long (even before I was showing that they did so) that he went a little bit insane. I've always tried to write him in a sort of "too cheery about this" manner, and I probably completely failed but oh well. Anyway, there's some bits where I felt like "if I had 3 announcers, I'd be able to make this part better". Two people bouncing off each other is nice, but 3 could make things more interesting. So yeah Graham will be back next time. I thought this a good way to get a third person into the mix, even if it might be a sub optimal way of doing so.)

I never implemented it since it wasn't popular among players who commented on it.
