(Steve has been adverse to bots/drones. Maybe if you asked to be drop-podded down, we'd be able to experience you in the flesh (or in the brain) and we could brain cuddle together.)

Because you're on heph, you can participate in your REAL body if you want to.




So, here's how this goes.


We'll assume you all immediately turn on your heels and run straight back to the elevator. We'll assume you hit the up button and the elevator goes up. It keeps going up for a little while until it stops going up.  Then it starts going down. Very very quickly. It continues to do this for an amount of time that seems frankly impossible. Eventually it slows and then stops. The little LED floor denoting sign shows nothing but gibberish, though the door light is green, indicating that you're on a proper floor and the door can be opened.


Lets get a few things out of the way:
1. You have no contact with Steve or ARESTEVE. Attempting to hail them yields only distorted static. QEC included.
2. Attempting to cut, smash or otherwise move through the walls is bizarrely ineffectual. Lasers, guass, fists the like seem to strike but have absolutely no effect; not even as much as warming the metal or chipping the paint.
3. Attempting to get the elevator to move up or down produces a screeching metal noise and nothing else.

Look for emergency ladder leading up the shaft. What do the thermometers say, did the temperature go up or down when the thing happened? Also, how long have we been in there since we entered through the lid on the outside (I got that timer running still)?

Press the door open button. Stuck in an elevator in a strange dimension?  Dangerous and wasteful space magic crafting time, naturally.  Use the MFM to lengthen the combat knife into a sharp scimitar, using a metal pole for material as needed.
