So my random craftsdwarf went secretive and claimed a leatherworkers shop. He then grabbed 8 items. I've never had an artifact use that many before. He's got 2x hoary marmot leather, hoary marmot bones, obsidian blocks, oak logs, rose gold bars, claro opals, and obsidian. Hopefully he fares better than my other legendary leatherworker (who decided to take a swim in the magma after seeing a fire imp)

Any bets as to what this thing will be?

Evar is a great word. It doesn't necessarily mean the same thing as ever.

My most complex to date is an Electrum mace.  Decorated with about three kinds of wood, as well as hanging rings of saguaro, and I think some leather, and three different designs on it, and another one in hoary marmot bone.  (It's great how one kind of obscure animal is so widespread in the game, not that that's entirely unusual for roguelikes.  I move giant anteaters be added!  Except then everyone would eat them, my dwarves included. Never mind.)  They're all scary designs, too, like a dwarf withering away and a goblin striking a menacing pose.

I can only assume it's ceremonial.
