Basically I have no idea what I am doing or what is going on, and also I guess I'm technically not part of ye olde Children of Armok yet, so.

I do suggest joining the realm. It makes communication a heck of a lot easier.

Sure, I'll give this a go. I'm chill, enjoy roleplaying, and am very accepting of fickle fate and loss in games like this, as I'm sure most bay12ers are.

Which is lucky because I particularly like being horrible, nasty marauder characters regardless of the trouble & drama that inevitably invites on my own head. Is there any room for that kind of playstyle here?

Plenty. You'll have to play a bit carefully to build a powerbase, and pick a realm quite carefully, but it's very possible.

If you feel like playing a slightly less fickle character, I'm filling slots for the Spearbreakers. We have a nice war brewing (again), so there's that going for us.

Start in Steelhold, it's the capital. I'll arrive there in a while - I'd post a knight offer, but I'm between estates. Once you've placed, I'll give you permissions to get a handful of soldiers and find a few estates for you.

Bandits are a heck of a lot of fun.

E: gotcha. Go Conversations -> New -> Leave a message for the owner of the nearby settlement. Title it and include stuff as appropriate for any IC reason you want for having there, else just put in some filler. I can't contact you from where I am.

That's game days, not RL. They're one-quarter normal. Steelhold is the Spearbreakers' capital, not the overall capital, just FYI. Mountainhome is the overall capital.

Centenkiko, I should have a pretty good spot for you. There's always a certain risk of being shanked on the border, since we are the border basically, but it's pretty good anyway. I've only fought a couple of skirmishes, as yet none against invaders.
