What is a dwarfmoot?  A dwarfmoot is a gathering of excellent individuals who want to celebrate, play, ponder, eat, discuss, and drink to all things related to that wonderful game, Dwarf Fortress.

One of the dwarfs walked in front of Thor to get a better view of the prye, and Thor kicked him irritably into the middle of the flames, which made Thor feel slightly better and made all the dwarfs feel much worse.

Yeah, I'm in Walla Walla. That's only across hellishly cold semi-arid terrain for a couple hours till you get to hellishly cold mountains.

I would gladly show up!

It's been too long since I came to a dwarf fortress meetup.

Also, Mox is great.  It's not big enough for a gathering as big as the ones we had a few years ago, though.

Yes! Well, that is a consideration. Let's see how many people are in and we can work out something for the venue.

My wife and I live in Seattle and would love to participate in something like this. I'm only intermittently on these forums, but I'll try to keep up with this thread.

I've driven by Mox a bunch of time and always figured "boarding house" was Bellevue-speak for homeless shelter.

I'd totally come as long as this happens before Feb.

It's kind of a weird name ;) Try swinging by the place and check it out, sometime.  It's really great for people that like games.
