I wonder what alchemy effects coffee beans would have, any mods that add coffee beans notwithstanding. Almost certainly had one among the Oblivion mods that took up half my hard drive at one point.

Fortify Speed, Fortify Intelligence, Resist Paralysis, Damage Willpower?

Fortify Fatigue and Restore Fatigue, most likely.
And maybe Fortify Speed. (Moon Sugar is pretty much cocaine and Skooma is crack in all but name, and the only trait they share is Fortify Speed.)

But since Katia's about to drink it, the first alchemical effect of coffee will be Damage Luck.

Yes. Prequel doesn't seem to have anything like email notifications or an RSS feed, so for me, it's the only way to find out about new updates in time.

It does have an RSS feed, linked in the sidebar towards the bottom. Here's a direct link to it.

I think that's kinda the joke, though. Katia wants to sit on a rock for 16 hours watching for her friend, and that's actually a while.

People in TESverse manage to keep three wardrobes, two armories, five larders and half a library's worth of belongings on their person while walking around in entirely pocket-free armor.
A few gallons of magicka won't even be a challenge for them.

It's there with the lockpick in the secret pocket. Clearly, people in TES all have a series of marsupial-like pouches inside their navel, and are actually mostly hollow inside. This is why when you pickpocket somebody who has nothing in their pockets, and then kill them, they have stuff suddenly. It's very hard to pickpocket someone's belly pouches without getting caught, but dead men can't complain about personal space violations.

I think Gro-Upp is living evidence that it's pecs that house a person's inventory, not the navel.
Which is why Strength lets you carry more stuff: more strength, bigger pecs.
