Ho do I get my dwarves to write books?

Have a library, have scholars, have scrolls or quires and hope for the best! Make sure you have places to write (chair + table), bookcases and some storage space in your library too.

For what it's worth, I've found it's easier to make pig tail cloth sheets and wooden scroll rollers. Seems to be the most accessible combination of writing material.
