Yep. I set it up a couple pages ago to help keep track of everyone's sheets.

Yah, you get dumped unceremoniously at teh edge of Omega, lifted roughly to your feet, told to turn your head and cough, poked and prodded, hit as many times as needed to make you comly with instructions, then are given some standard prisoner's garb and left to wander, with the usual instructions on not getting killed and maybe finding a room, where the mess hall is, and all that.

Wander about looking for an armory or for an empty room, see if anyone left the door to their rooms open.

You wander around testing doors. The open ones are all empty. The armory is off limits, and the grizzled old man guarding it seems rather grumpy.

looking forward to it :D

AS far as I know, there are no NPCs friendly to you yet. Check the inactive players list in the third OP and maybe pm them if you wanna get into hijinks. Otherwise, I might have you work on the "monastery" a little.

Damnit, my whole plan for a character was based around a brilliantly punny special ability, then I realised I was confusing the game with another one which had those. Whoops. Oh well, using 'em (and the pun) anyway.

Name of Character: Thrips
Race: Human

Stats:
Strength: -2
Constitution: +1
Speed: +1
Dexterity: 0
Intelligence: 0
Memory: -1
Will: +1
Charisma: -1

Skills:
Unarmed combat: 0
Blunt weapons: +1
Sharp weapons:
Ranged weapons:
Magic: -2
Medicine:
General knowledge: +1
Skill Mastery/specialization: 0
  • (Baking/cooking)
  • (Hiding/cowering/being generally unobtrusive)
Description: A runty, unhealthily pale adolescent with a snub nose, watery blue eyes, lank dark hair and a perpetually miserable expression.
Bears a fair few whip scars, primarily across the back and legs, as well as a nasty old burn across the lower jaw. One eye occasionally drifts apart from its comrade, staring slightly askew, usually on the rare occasions its owner finds reason to smile about something.
How did you become part of the Omega Legion? Just another piece of bad luck in a whole lifetime of it.
Background: Baker's boy. A particularly badly treated one.
He was eventually freed from that situation by the master baker's death in police custody, only to get shipped off to Omega with the burns still healing on his face.

Did I do it right this time?
I think this character is far more interesting than the last one I came up with. Ugh.
Almost went with a lizardman, they're always fun to play, but then a pun occurred to me and I had to go with this.

knock off one of the +1 in stats, and either knock a +1 off skills, or add a -1

also, you have one skill mastery listed. A +1 in skill mastery gives you four slots there. Unless you want three more slots, you don't need that +1 at all. in fact, if cooking/baking is the only skill mastery you choose, you could go -2 there.

I'm officially simplifying the chargen rule just a little.

add up all the positives. Add up all the negatives.
If the positives are          the negatives should be
0..................................0
1..................................1
2..................................2
3..................................4
4..................................7

Edit: +2 is the maximum for a starting stat/skill, and -2 is the minimum.

Still have a limit of +2 to start or can we go up to +4?
Also, I thought that -2 skill mastery means you have 0 specializations.

no, still have the +2/-2 limit, and uh ...
uuuuhhhhhh....
yes -2 is 0 skill masteries, so Yoink, you can go with a -1 there, and still have one more mastery to spend. Pun mastery, for example. You horrible monster.
