Hello there, Creative Projects!
For a little context, a few years ago, me and my cousin created an unscripted and quite silly roleplay. Ghosts, doppelgangers, aliens, it was weird and yet awesome. Well, since the last roleplay we did (because time and such), I started turning loremaster and after a while, created a Mythos.
The background for the setting will be explored through each series I produce, but to catch your fancy, here's the main background info.
Up until 1326, human history went as planned. The Romans rose and fell, the 300 Spartans died, and everything else that happened went as planned. From a time between 1326-1345, however, a form of Magic emerged on Earth from numerous sources, though that emerged often were crystals found in many places. Those who practiced this magic were considered heretics and killed in gruesome ways in public. This continued for a long while until the early 1700s. One execution to take place was with a young man using a fire spell in the woods to start a campfire. When he was brought in to be killed, and read his rights, the Judge came forward with an axe and split him in two. At that, however, Rifts in space-time opened at the beck and call of his screams. All three of the Rifts that opened up exposed three parallel universes to the crowd:
Beastia: The world of Beasts, such as Werewolves. A bustling, yet war torn city in a world surrounded by lava and heat. Ruled by the Pureblood; Immortal humanoids born of the Firstborn.
The Void: The world of the Undead, such as Zombies and Vampires. A large expanse of snow and ruins. Ruled by thousands of people, but two in particular are the Scarlet Queen (an undead girl brought back as a spirit of vengeance) and the Operator (a being composed of souls from a large, mutated Rift known as the Maw.)
Draconia: The world of Myth, such as goblins, elves, and orcs. A fantasy land of arid deserts and cold winters. Ruled by Agazhim, Ruler of the Fire Wyverns, Progenitor of the Dragonborn, and the End of Days.
When these Rifts opened, power surged to the man, who used magic to put himself together as a rain of blood fell from the sky. Dubbing himself The Rainmaker, he vowed to destroy the world as he began killing people. Before he could fulfill his promise, Agazhim bound him with a spell, and thrust him into the World Between Worlds. Intimated by the presence of a dragon, the people heard Agazhim as he defended Magic's use. The people listened, and as Monster Hunters sprung up to battle Monsters who sought to destroy humanity, the world of Earth IV was never the same.
Now then, let's get to the series. This thread will be an outlet to get each series out, but I also want to use it for writing tips.:
The first series of Earth IV. Starring alternate universe versions of myself and my cousin, we start with whimsy before descending into a world of brutality, where life and death are common occurrences.
Season One/Prolouge: "The Two Alternates"
