Alian strides up to the door, and after a second of fiddling, they creak open, revealing a ruined hall. What were once tables are nothing more than splinters on decaying floorboards. With a chorus of groans, the hollows within turn to look at her. Two sword hollows and a spearman grip their weapons tighter and begin shuffling forwards. On a balcony, hollows hook arrows to their strings.



Enemy paste updated!

A loud clang rings out. A sergeant, bird-eater symbol still visible on their breastplate, slams their heavy club down and roars! Gesturing with its mace, it seems some fragments of discipline are retained by the creature.

Enemy Phase

The sergeant moves up, and swings brutally at Alain!

Alain is daunted!
Hit: 77-4-15 = 58
Roll: 30, hit
Crit: no
Dam: 13-1-3 = 9

Alain counters!
Hit: 102-10-8-15 = 99
Roll: 100, miss //wow.

Battered by the club, Alain stabs at the Captain. With a slight head motion, the sergeant evades her hasty thrust.

Over his head arced a pottery sphere...

Alain is daunted!

Roll: 15, hit
Crit: 2 - 0 = 2
Roll: 54, no crit
Dam: 12-1 = 11

Alain is downed!

The firebomb smashes into the stunned woman and in a burst of flames, she topples to the ground!

The other hollows begin to move forward, but the sergeant grunts and waves its mace, and the undead refrain from charging.

Theft of Humanity Activates! Sacha gains 5hp. [MAX]

Watching the young 'librarian' get clubbed and swiftly lit on fire in the space of two seconds shook Sacha. Never-the-less, she couldn't afford to allow one of her shields to 'die'. Otherwise the creatures might turn their attention towards her. Dashing forward she swiftly jabbed the dying 'librarian' with her staff to restore her wounds.

"You seem a bit more used to shadow work than staight up fighting. Maybe you should hang back?"

Move to I8, Heal Alain for 15hp

The sergeant retreats a few steps and pulls a greenish flask from its belt. It drinks, and a nimbus of orange energy briefly plays over it.
