Companion Guiding to Location

I got a companion that is leading me to a vampire location but he doesn't do anything, he just stands there like the rest of my permanent companions.

Help!

Look to the upper left corner of your screen and one of the locations will have 'Guide' next to it. You'll have that waypoint while your guide is with you, and sometimes after.

Some people answered exactly like that on reddit and I thought they were confusing with a later version of DF. I don't see any "Guide" written next to a location, I thought it could be because of the tileset but I disabled it and still don't see anything so I decided to ask here.

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong screen.

Is this the screen you mean?

I'm going to try to replicate the bug to see if it persists.

Edit: I generated a new world, created a character and asked someone to guide me to a location, still can't see anything in the "compass" on the top left.

The Bug Tracker is down for the server migration so if it gets back up I may not be here to report it so please report it if you(someone) can.

I don't know why but the problem seems gone now.

I was using the latest version (I did install TWBT and some dfhack stuff by hand) and it didn't show up, now I installed the latest LNP pack and the problem is gone.
