I spotted Tears of Armok in a surface area,
is there any way to dig ?

Linked to this question, is it possible to make reactions with interacting with surroundings somehow ?
I like the idea of making a "survival game" out of DF ...
similar to Zomboid Project, but the total interaction in shaping the environment is needed.
Maybe with DFhack a tree can destroyed and transformed into a pile of wood ?

I answered myself with the changelog of DF, chopping trees and making arrows are in the "to do" list of adventure mode.

The same, I guess, is for digging ?

It's very strange for me that Toady One considers more important the tasks he's doing (war between cities, sieges, etc) instead of making the adventurer dig / chop trees, allowing DF to become a complete autonomous survival game.

Well that's because Toady One is making more of a fantasy world simulator than a fantasy world survival game. The wars and the politics in the background are more important for generating different storylines than the actions of some random dude in the wilderness.
