Inspired to make dwarf fortress have a true hardcore challange, and push the limits of what is possible without DFHack (or with it, either way)
What armok has commanded to be done:

• Vermin enhancement
• Underground hazards of every sort
• More creatures, to make the challange more challanging
• Beasts. Of. Blood. (Semi megabeast like creatures of scary and dangerous proporions... BLOOD FOR ARMOKCreatures more dangerous than ever before shall come...
• More Civs
• Plant expansions and additions (Poison Spore Spewing Mushroom Trees!)
• More syndromes...[li/]

  So there, thats the spill, suggustions for what should be added are very welcome, i can't come up with everything on my own!
  Also, i need a logo for this mod... anyone willing to make one? im not much of a artist

No slight to you, but this really is a rather generic idea for a mod. "Make Dwarf Fortress harder" is an exceedingly obvious goal. It's also an exceedingly worthy one, but you'll need to present the particulars of your take before you garner much enthusiasm for it.

That said, I'm happy to make suggestions. How about developing a distinct eco-system for each cavern-layer (and possibly Hell)?
