So from what I can tell there are three ways to advance in power.

1: Raw Power - Increase your influence and ascend in power

2: Primal Form - Seek power and gain it in a new form

3: Combination - Valosh's personal favorite. Many souls become one and commingle.

I actually find Valosh x tebya to be kinda....strangly heartwarming now it's still really weird but it's nice..but yeah those seem to be the ways to obtain power...geez Valosh would be unstoppable if he combined with primal tebya...
