1. Homunculus
2. Oro
3. MMWW
4. ERBeyond
5. ERORO

I feel like such a big, epic, story driven game as ER should have closure. Doing something else in that universe feels unsatisfying to me. Sometimes, an experience carries with it a certain magnitue, a personal connection, that, when the experience ends, one must grieve, and then move on. To revisit it diminishes it, and leaves one unsatisfied. So I put ER lore stuff low.

Homunculus seems interesting to me. everyone starts with a very similar character, but through loss of parts and gain of new ones, people's characters become unique, though sometimes in ways beyond the player's control.

I could vote on this poll ten times with ten different arrangements though. But I think homunculus deserves some love.

So it was like a binary search, except the question is "Has the input been brutally murdered?", and it only ever returns True.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

These should be the current canonical votes. I had to go and recount and track people's usernames cuz somebody went and didn't just edit their post.

Tsk tsk.

And now I'll go tally them up. watch this space.

Someone ought to recheck. I did spaz's vote as whomever he quoted was, and hap's in the order in which I wrote them above (which I think is also what he wrote?). These may have made a difference between eroro and mainspring, actually.

ERORO: A
mainspring: B
MMWW: C
ORO: D
Homunculus: H
er beyond: F

   -F -H*-C -B
A 8  8  8  9  12
B 5  5  6  8  0
C 4  4  4  0  0
D 14 14 15 16 21
F 0  0  0  0  0
H 3  3  0  0  0

* someone lost all their choices in this round of runoff

Note, if only people formatted their votes in the same way, this would have been a lot easier. Like, say, if we all had a single list of numbers "145236", for example, and had our supporting reasoning separate. So I take no responsibility for errors (or erororororos).
