Phases

There are currently two phases to the game, suggestion and voting.  Simply put, the former is where ideas of what could be done are suggested, while the latter is when people vote upon the available suggestions.

Well firstly we need to be able to Determine how long something is. How could we possibly make uniformly lengthed bashing sticks without such? Find an especially straight bone and use that as the frame of measurement.

Do you want something like this:
Quote
Name: Bone System
Description: A straight bone used for measuring with a notch roughly halfway along its length.  Can be used to measure half or full bone lengths.  To someone in the modern world, one bone is roughly equal to three eighths of a meter.

Name: Hit Thing
Description: Sticks and stones may break your bones, but the Hit Thing definitely will. The latest invention by the famed innovator Uggmugg, this design is as simple as it is beautiful: a rock on the end of a stick tied together with vine wrapped around the two. Now you can hit things with the power of rocks and with the range of sticks.
Resources: Rock, stick, vine.

The hit stick should be one bone in thickness and two bones in length the rock of the hit stick should be at least thick as 2 bones IMO

Hit Thing is good. I propose the following as the other two designs:

Name: Sharp Rock
Description: Sharpened rock good for cutting things. Made by rubbing and chipping the rock with other rocks.
Resources: Rock

Name: Chop Stick
Description: Hammer sharp rock into a big stick, using another rock, to make an axe.
Resources: Sharp Rock, Rock, Big Stick

We'll have a hammer, a knife, and an axe. Then we can start building structures and tools for gathering food.
