Is it possible to intimidate a lord/lady into paying homage to you? Eg, can I break all of their fingers to increase the chances?

Ptw here as I am currently adventuring  and conquering and can't for the life of me get anyone to pay homage. Despite slaughtering the entire hearth army, shouting in faces about my legendary kills and boasting a very large hearth army myself. I could just conquer everything myself but it breaks immersion a little and takes away from the fuedalism RP
