Examine this peculiar object. If I dont die in the process, leave the house and search in another building.
[5] You take a closer look at the artifact. The ball is of inorganic origin with scrystaline structure. The spikes are really sharp. You notice that it's not entirely red, as there are some blue or green spots. You break one of spikes, cut your finger lightly and let a drop of blood fall on it. When the drop touches it's surface, the broken spike starts to glow with faint light and sucks blood inside, taking even stronger shade of red. The artifact must activate in contact with blood, and seeing that it's mostly red, it must've been used many times.

[1] As you leave the building, you stumble upon another irradiated ghoul!

I Wait a Bit to see if that thing goes off at a Particular rate or just annihilates anything that enters it.
[1] You wait to see how this anomaly actually works, watching as husks stand mindlessly in raging inferno. Stench of burned bodies fills your nostrils, temperature is not enough to outright evaporate them. Anyone who'd get inside it alive would suffer unimaginable torment. Even the truck melts down. The anomaly must work as long as anything is in it's area.

[5] You grin with amaze at the open way towards the Zone and powers of your intuition. Now it's time to look for Miriel. In a rush of excitement and full of energy you move onward, quickly wandering through forests and small hills. In a distance you can see two small villages, one of them is relatively close and you could get there right after it becomes dark. The second one is farther to north west. With a map you identify them as "Gorodizche" and "Kupovatoye" villages, from which the former is closer.

With his mouth covered, slap him repeatedly till he wakes up.
[6] You cover his mouth and slap furiously till he wakes up, and when does, you try to interrogate him. Holding your gun close to his head, he tells you everything... but you can't understand anything. You can't be sure, but he probably talks belarussian to you.

Awaken, eat, and check my Geiger counter. Also throw some dirt to make sure that the path out of the anomaly didn't change.
[4] You wake up a few hours later and it's already evening. All this fighting and finding your way in the Zone made you hungry, you take a food ration - a rusk and canned meat, then drink some water. Next you check Geiger counter - radiation is only slightly above usual level for these areas and you don't have to worry about it yet.
[6] Somehow you feel as the anomaly moves and shifts, even air is twitching. Then an object falls down on your head, it's hard as a stone, but is fleshy to the touch. Might be leftovers of controller thrown out. You hide it for later examination and throw some dust, checking where the way out is and you realize in horror that after the change, there is no way out!

[4] You run to aid fellow military stalkers in removing the threat of unidentified stalkers, but one of soldiers stops you and say that a truck going to Chernobyl city, which is halfway through Zone to Prypiat is leaving shortly. You must decide whether you're going with them or aid military stalkers.
