It all began with the Eon of Stone.

There were only Titans, and the timeless realm they roamed. They were locked in constant battle that rapidly thinned their numbers, but the volatile earth birthed new Titans as fast as they fell.

No worry, what about "Dark Matter" ? As in an inert substance that fills the void, but that is not present before the creation of the universe.
