I think following him sounds... Important. Although it'll probably throw us into the next map without a rest.

Would getting adjacent to him stop him from running? I mean, that should be easy enough to do. But I don't see how that'd help.

We don't really know the mechanics of this map, and we've already been screwed over by that twice (the objective suddenly switching to something impossible to achieve being the most painful)

So... Maybe moving next to him will trigger "stopping" him. But I'm not sure I see it.

So it's simply impossible to get any of the victory conditions except the last one. Well. No point in trying I guess.
