Heiterverzweiflung. Not a legit German word so much as something a friend and I made up in German class once. "Carefree despair". When life is so fucked that you can't stop laughing.

Is your plan really to flush water into hell, and have the CARP marines fight them without threat of flame or disease?  If so, you are awesome, and one of the greatest DF military visionaries I've seen yet ( not that I've seen that many, or any, for that matter )

Stopping by to say hello. o/  Since the end of the first Spearbreakers, I've gotten something akin to a job, and it's all about writing large amounts of text... which makes me somewhat dislike writing much outside of it.  :-\ I've even found it highly difficult to keep up with even friends as a result... and needless to say, I don't think I'll be writing anything for Spearbreakers II. I don't have much time as it is. :P

You need to bleat like a goat for strategic reasons to counter the ninjas.

A few people have also received dwarves, though I admit I mainly gave Talvieno one out of respect for the absolutely catastrophic influence his side story has had.
Heh... sorry about that. :-[ Maybe it's a good thing I'm not writing this fort?

I read the original Spearbreakers, but never participated. I came too late. But can we at least wait until a few more pages in? We have to look good for the inevitable Hall of Legends nomination!

Nonsense, the original thread was far crazier than this and practically everyone nominated it.

Honestly? No amount of temper tantrums on my part stopped the flow of shitposts in SB1 even briefly. Just let it be. You'll just save yourself a lot of unnecessary stress.

Let's be honest gentleman, when it comes to Spearbreakers, there's a fine line between shit post, mug post, and sane post. Oh, and the occasional game post.

None of us remember where that line is. That being said, more game updates would be double plus OK.
