I’m sure. This is going to be one of my greatest games yet! Especially because I’m going to be playing, along with the other players!
I’ve taken the role of a mafia player. Informed minority, very nice. Definitely the way to go. Together with my partner, Doc Scratch, I think I’ll be able to dominate this playing field. I’ve taken the codename “Deus Asmoth”, very fitting for me. Doc Scratch has taken the codename “TheBiggerFish”. As smart as I am, and as smart as he is, sometimes, still, I don’t understand him.
I love telepathy. Most of the time. Especially when it facilitates secure communication. Courtesy of the incredible telepathic link selling corporation known as “Quicktopic”, I now have a [link] to freely communicate with my partner.
Courtesy of some cloning tanks I found somewhere in Nevermore Castle, I cloned myself. Although the clone does not have all my power, it will suffice for a figurehead in my absence.
Nowhere convinced me. I suppose, to keep things fun and not instantly destroy the game, I should limit my powers. Pity, but, I suppose, it’s necessary. But what I’ll leave myself should be sufficient, if I work my brain enough.

Null Nevermore(mafia)
(Night): Action Nullification [target]: I nullify the target’s action, effectively blocking them. Nullification magic for the win!
(1-Shot, Night, Mafiakill): Absolute Nullification [target]: I nullify my target’s role. Absolutely, completely, utterly. If they are town, they are reduced to a Vanilla Townie, and if they are mafia, they are reduced to a Mafioso. In addition, their vote(s) is/are nullified also. But they aren’t told that, nor will it show up in the vote count. Heh heh… also, it’s worth noting that although this action doesn’t kill, it still counts as a kill action.
You also have access to the factional Mafiakill, plus a quicktopic to communicate with your partner.

You hear the doorbell ring. Odd. Very odd. You have a doorbell on your apartment? No, you don’t. Or at least, you didn’t. You’re at the door at the next moment. The fact that you’re not detecting anybody pressing the newly formed doorbell means that either- no, you don’t need to think this through. You simply KNOW. Nobody at the door.
The doorbell is pressed again. “What in the…” This is confusing. You know the doorbell was pressed. You know nobody is at the door. Nobody. With a capital N. Oh, that explains it. No wonder you didn’t detect him- only a power such as that held by his master could have concealed him from you for so long.
You open the door, as you expected, facing one of Null Nevermore’s most trusted men, Nobody Nevermore. He wastes no time. “The boss would like to have a few words with you.”
Well that’s strange. You know Null is powerful enough to have no need of your services.
Billions of possibilities shoot through your brilliant mind. The most probable conclusions float to the top of your thoughts. Oh, joy. Joy… “Wonderful.” Just… plain… joy.
A few moments later, you’re in the wonderful place known as Nevermore Castle. Although you wince at the power-suppressing aura that is acting on you, you know that if Null wanted you dead for some reason, you would probably already be dead, rather than brought here to talk with him.
Another few moments later, you’re in an office. One of many, you’re aware. Null wastes no time. Just as prompt as his henchman. “Tell me… would you like to play a game? A game of intellect?”
One of the best possible outcomes. As you expected would happen. Most likely. Now then- what type of game?
You are answered a moment later. Via telepathy. Somehow, Null established a telepathic [link] with you, without you even noticing. Well, if it would be anybody that could do that, it would be Null. “Mafia. With powers.”
Your response is filled with enthusiasm. “Tell me more…”
So, flash forward some prep time later. Your powers: limited. Pity, but Null convinced you it was necessary- if you and him played using your full powers… you shudder at the thought. Definitely not as fun.
Finally, there is the choosing of the code names. Null goes with “Deus Asmoth”. Fits him. As for you… with your mind overheating slightly at all the different permutations of names you’re going through, you generate one at random. Best not to overheat one’s mind, especially when it’s so powerful. Whatever you get, you’re sticking with it.

(Night): Masterful Manipulation [target1], [target2]: Target1 changes his target to target2 if he/she is using a single target action. If he/she is using a multiple target action, one of his/her targets is chosen at random and is changed to target2.
(Night): Deductive Surge [statement]: You determine if the chosen statement is true, false, or somewhere in between. From the speaker’s perspective, anyway. For certain statements, this might not be possible. Examples include guesses and statements of intent.

(Night): Unfortunate Accident [target]: Your target slips on a banana peel and smashes their head or equivalent into a wall, knocking them out and hence blocking them. If you successfully use this on a given target two nights in a row, in addition to the blocking, it will also kill them. Blunt force trauma. Simple, yet effective.
(1-Shot, Auto): Disaster Aversion: When you would be hit by a kill action, it’s redirected to a random player other than you. This ability only works once, unfortunately.

He ripped you right out of the Canadian Criminal Code. How dare he… how dare he! You have a place in the law! You aren’t meant to be a part of some sort of “mafia” game! You’re meant to be a part of the Canadian Criminal Code! How dare he! Null Nevermore will pay for this! Assuming you live.
A partner would have been nice. A partner would help you get back at Null. Pity you didn’t get assigned one. So… you must be town. Hm.
He… will… pay… for… this. With you out of the law, the great Queen of Canada will be vulnerable to alarm! This must not stand! You will hunt down the mafia! You will end them! Then you will hunt down the nigh-unstoppable demigod that is Null Nevermore and figure out a way to kill him!

Canadian Criminal Code s. 49(a)(town)
(Day): Pass The Crown [target]: You may only use this action if there is not currently a living player with the “Queen of Canada” Auto. Your target gains “(Auto): Queen of Canada: You are the Queen of Canada.” You’re not entirely sure how you do this. And you’re not entirely sure of what would happen if a dead Queen of Canada somehow came back to life. Cross was right- sanity is dead.
(Auto): Enforcement of The Law: When a hammer vote(which will definitely cause alarm) is placed on a player who is the Queen of Canada… the voter in question is promptly tossed in a Canadian jail, having their vote nullified for the rest of the day. You would prefer a larger sentence… but no, Null won’t allow it. And whenever a kill action(which would also definitely cause alarm) would hit a player who is the Queen of Canada, the user of said kill action is thrown into a Canadian jail, having their kill action blocked. Enforcement of The Law can only trigger once per phase, and cannot trigger on a LYLO day phase.
(1-Shot, Night): Loophole Abuse: In a nation of nine or fewer people, any murders would be destroying the public peace. Right? All players who would preform a kill action tonight are blocked by being thrown into Canadian jails.

A role based around Tarot Cards(town)
(Night): Tarot “Reading” [target]: You read 3 cards from your “deck” of 11 cards onto your target, applying their effects to your target over the next three nights(the first card you draw influences the next night, the second, the night after that, the third, the night after that…). Each player may only be effected by this ability once.
Your cards:
The High Priestess: The night this card takes effect, your target learns a random(other than his or her own role) player’s role, but not said player’s alignment.
The Empress: Your target may take an additional action on the night after this card takes effect. Even if they are dead.
The Chariot: The night this card takes effect, your target’s action will work as they intend, no matter what. No redirection, no randomization, no bussing, no blocking, no protection, no nothing. Nothing will stop their action from working.
The Hermit: The night this card takes effect, your target gains “(1-Shot, Day): Great Wisdom [statement]: You learn if the chosen statement is true or not(or somewhere in between) from the speaker’s perspective. Some statements, such as guesses or statements of intent might not be readable. After use, this ability disappears from your role.”
The Wheel of Fortune: The night this card takes effect, your target gains a 1-shot night ability from this list: Track, Watch, Alignment Inspect, Block, Kill, which will disappear from their role after use.
The Fates: The night this card takes effect, your target will be redirected to a random player(s, if the target is using a multiple target action).
The Moon: The night this card takes effect, your target will be PM’d a random player’s username, and will be told that that player is mafia.
The Sun: The night this card takes effect, your target will be PM’d a random player’s username, and will be told that player’s alignment.
The Renewal: The night this card takes effect, your target will have all of his/her shotted abilities completely refilled.
The Fool: The night this card takes effect, your target will be effected by another Tarot Card, chosen at random.
Death: The night this card takes effect, your target will die at the end of the night. They… will… die. No matter what. This is not a kill action.
(2-Shot, Night): Rework “Fate” [target]: If you hit a player who has been previously hit by Tarot “Reading” using this action, you may freely switch(between nights) the Tarot effects that player will be subject to with each other, before any of them resolve. Example: A player has [card1], [card2], [card3] queued up to effect him on Night 2, Night 3, and Night 4 respectively. You use Rework “Fate” on said player. Now, you may change the order the cards will effect the player, but you cannot change the nights that player will be effected. So, you change the order thus that the order will be [card3], [card1], [card2], but they still effect the player in the order of Night 2, Night 3, and Night 4.
